I came for lunch at Brasserie 701 & had the poulet rôti - so tasty & perfectly cooked! The ambiance was welcoming & the service really stood out. Carla & Melissa were both so kind & attentive, which made my first visit extra special. I'll definitely be coming back!
Best experience at brunch this morning at Brasserie 701! Food was incredible & our waitresses were exceptional, Adele & Elody made our girls trip!! We will be back visiting when we come back to Montreal! 10/10 recommend!

Superbe restaurant au vieux port de Montréal sur la Place d'Armes.
Cuisine française authentique, nous avons pris le filet de bar ainsi que le steak frites cuisson parfaite telle que demandée. bravo au Chef!
Ambiance agréable, un personnel attentif à ses clients. Nous avons eu un très bon service de Laetitia & Mathilde!

Amazing experience! The food was delicious, full of flavor, & beautifully presented. What really stood out was the service - our waiter Kenny was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, & gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this restaurant, & I'll definitely be back (asking for Kenny!).

Came here on a recommendation but it is very mediocre. I do not speak French & I am a Canadian tourist.
The restaurant was understaffed. Extremely slow service. The server was very nice. The escargot was lukewarm warm & was extremely bland. Ontario has better escargot. The chicken was very mediocre, & tasted like a rotisserie chicken slathered in Campbell's cream of broccoli soup. The only good thing was the fancy drink. All in all, I do not recommend this place. I expressed the lack of flavour & the temperature issue the server, & essentially they advised that, this is how it's done in Montreal (i.e., it's the French way: appetizers are served cold & food tastes bland). I kindly said ok but ChatGPT says otherwise. Tourists trap with no quality - management needs to do better, chefs have no soul in their food. It's literally a prime tourist location, do better.
Server forgot to provide the complimentary bread to my table when I sat down.
Ambience is ok. Outside is nice but you're sitting in traffic. Inside is ok, nothing special. Windows are nice but also gives cafeteria vibes.
The breakfast was reasonably priced & very tasteful. The portion was also plentiful. This is coming from a guy who is used to eating from buffets for a vacation breakfast.
However, because our hotel's breakfast sucked, we went here.
The fruit was fresh & the environment was clean.
We got the two-eggs-your-way & it was amazing.
The drinks (smoothie,hot chocolate, coffee) were presented nicely.
I liked that the menu was short, nobody wants to read for breakfast.
The only gripe I have is that the bread should have come with butter without us asking, but that is a small gripe.
The jam was also slightly loose & unappetizing, but because the rest was so amazing , this place gets 5 stars.
Le maître d'hôtel Kévin est une aide exemplaire pour mon épouse dans la préparation du mariage de mon fils. Nous apprécions sa gentillesse & surtout de son temps avec nous.

The food & service was amazing & the classic espresso martini was one of the best. Melissa our server, was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, & made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down.
Visited in 2019 & knew I had to come back this time around! Melissa was absolutely exceptional - her attentiveness & warmth made for a lovely dining experience. Perfect way to kick off a weekend in Montreal!
