The food was delicious, so tasty & the service even better. They should add a little more to their menu & Benedict choices as it was sooo good. Staff were super friendly. We got there after their brunch hours (2pm) & they still allowed us to get the brunch which they don't normally do. Ps: They should note it on google site so that we don't get confused with Brunch hours & Bakery hours as only the bakery is open til 6pm. Other than that, i give it a solid 5, would go back again & would definitely recommend if you're in town ☺️
Chic & cozy. The mimosas are fresh & worth the price. A lovely spot for a birthday brunch.
We have been coming to Fanfare since it's opening. Love the place, & how it has evolved over the years. We have a favorite friendly face when we come daily for coffee or brunch. Cindy promptly knows exactly what we will order & is ready to greet us & make us feel right at home.
This place is a bakery but they also serve brunch. It is not very big so they only have about 7 tables. If you plan on eating there, it's recommended to make a reservation. In the summer, they have an outdoor patio with more tables. They also have seats along the window for those without a reservation. We tried the sandwich déjeuner & the bénédictine aux champignons. They were both delicious. The bread was nice & soft. However, the fries were so stale, we barely ate any. The matcha latte & fresh orange juice was good too. Service was amazing. The hostess/waiter was extremely friendly & welcoming.
Great brunch place, but also amazing for their coffee & viennoiseries! I had a lobster roll which is a seasonal menu, & it was fresh & delicious. Egg benedicts are also very tasty. Love their little terrasse too!
I've been here twice for brunch on weekends. I liked the food, portions are decent & in most cases you can get single or double (eggs). My only complain about the food is the bacon, very thin & not enough quantity. I've also tried the chocolatine & croissants. They are ok. The interior is small & it gets crowded. There are about 5-6 tables & a counter by the window facing Rue Jarry. There's a constant flow of people in/out for the boulangerie, so if you are seated near the door you will get a lot of traffic. Service is bad, in both occasions we made reservations & we were asked at least twice (when we sat & by the waitress) if we had reservations, even though there were empty tables. Both times, I still felt like they would ask us to move to another table or counter just because we were 2 people & they want to use the tables for bigger groups. The waitress takes your order, brings 1/2 bottle of water, brings your food & that's it. If you want more water or order something else, good luck getting their attention. The only person nice enough to smile & made us feel welcomed was the cashier, an older lady with glasses. Parking in adjacent streets was surprisingly easy to find in both occasions.
