Excellent endroit pour un brunch entre amis. Le menu est diversifié, les portions généreuses & la bouffe délicieuse! Je m'attendais à une boulangerie-type avec des viennoiseries mais non, on y sert de vrais plats. Belle ambiance, belle terrasse & excellent service.
Quelle belle découverte - le menu est différent des menus brunchs classiques & des plus appétissants - nous avons hésité entre trois plats différents :o) Le service est attentionné mais un peu lent pendant les beaux jours car la terrasse est fort occupée lorsqu'il fait beau - les gens mangeaient encore dehors par un 19 octobre!
This place is popular-& for good reason. Thankfully, they take reservations, so you can skip the line & dive straight into what they do best.
Housed inside a bakery, it sets itself apart with incredibly fresh bread & pastries. You can taste the difference-from the perfectly fluffy toast to the pillowy burger buns.
Their menu blends classic breakfast comfort with some playful, modern twists. We couldn't resist the banana French toast-rich, golden, & indulgent with chocolate syrup & coconut granola topping. The smoked meat burger was juicy, well-seasoned, & served on probably the freshest bun we've ever had.
Of course, it wouldn't be brunch in the fall without a pumpkin spice latte, & theirs hit all the right cozy notes.
Portions are generous, the food is satisfying without being over-the-top, & the service is friendly & welcoming, even on a busy morning.
Très bonne expérience dans ce magnifique brunch, tout leur aliments sont très frais & délicieux, j'ai eu un très beau service de Cindy & Julian j'y retournerai c'est clair !!!

Expérience décevante : arrivés à 8h30, aucun accueil, aucun bonjour, & aucune proposition de café ou de croissant alors que nous étions les seuls clients. Nous avons découvert par nous-mêmes que le brunch commençait seulement à 9h & avons dû insister pour être servis. Les produits semblent bons, mais un accueil plus chaleureux ferait toute la différence.
My friend & I had the lovely pleasure of being served by Julian during the two occasions of dining at Fanfare. Even during the rush, he was very polite & friendly. Will definitely keep coming back thanks to Julian's wonderful energy!

La boulangerie Fanfare sur Jarry, une très bonne adresse pour le lunch. La toast à l'avocat que j'ai commandée vendredi midi était délicieuse & les employés (Julian & Cindy) étaient super efficaces & sympathiques, malgré le fort achalandage. De vrais pros !
Le service est vraiment désagréable, tous les monde tire la gueule, les plats du brunch n ont rien de bien particulier & le café n est pas très bon aussi. C est regrettable car il y a plusieurs mois de ça c était bien différent.
Fanfare was one of the first places I fell in love with in the area. The one girl who used to work there 6 years ago was amazing in every way, friendly, hard working & made you feel welcome. She worked there for 2 years but then left. After, I felt the service was slowly going down hill.
Don't get me wrong the food is absolutely amazing here, the quality in that regard hasn't changed. But the service here can be awful. I will not put a blanket statement on everyone but when it comes to brunch most especially is what I'm referencing.
I've went to brunch on 2 occasions recently without a reservation. I was seated with no issue but was left without any water, menu, any attention for a half hour. The first time I just up & left since I had no idea when I would get served, & went across the street for breakfast. I went again another day & figured maybe it was a fluke, they were just busy but lo & behold it happened again. I waited it out this time & timed it to be 40m without anyone coming up to me.
It's obvious if you don't have a reservation you're treated like second class. & I get it, it's a busy place but it's a very simple thing to just tell folks that it may be a little bit before they are served & maybe give them some water & a menu.
It makes me sad just because I love this place, but I've found other brunch places in the area that will treat you well & have equally as good food.
I have gone with a reservation & the service was ok but nothing stellar, obviously much better than just walking in. Just be wary if you go in without a reservation! Otherwise it's worth a visit if you plan to make a reservation or just stop in for something quick.
Nouveau resto déjeuner préféré! La nourriture était délicieuse & les assiettes sont bien remplies pour le prix. On s'est fait accueillir par notre incroyable serveur Julian, qui nous a suggéré de prendre un demi pain doré à deux en plus de notre assiette pour pouvoir faire un mélange sucré-salé pas trop dispendieux. C'était vraiment une belle idée, on a adoré notre repas. J'ai essayé le classique déjeuner & mon amie a pris les oeufs bénédictines au saumon & tout était sublime. Nous étions sur la terrasse à l'ombre, parfait pour une belle matinée d'été!
