Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe Boulangerie Ange as a bakery with excellent pastries and breads, including almond croissants and tarte citron meringuée, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food is frequently praised, with fresh flavors and friendly staff when there is enough help on shift, but service can slow to a crawl during peak times and lines are common. Some experiences mention mishaps like a pie crumbling when boxed or limited sandwich options, plus cleanliness and organization concerns in busier periods. Promotions around buy four get one free can feel confusing or unfair when mixing items, though many still value the offerings and would return for the quality. Overall, the pastries and breads stand out and attract repeat visits, even if service consistency and promotion clarity could improve.

Simply awesome. Fresh baked croissant, sweet chocolatines, roasted coffee & much much more!

This bakery makes some of the best croissants & chocolatines I've had - buttery, flaky, & absolutely delicious. On quality alone, they deserve five stars.

Unfortunately, the pricing policy really dampens the experience. They advertise a'buy 3, get 1 free' deal, but it only applies if you buy four of the same pastry. That means four croissants or four chocolatines cost $7.50, which is fair. But if you mix it up - say 2 croissants & 2 chocolatines - the total jumps to $12.48. That's nearly double the price, which feels unreasonable for a neighborhood bakery.

I love supporting local spots & would happily pay a premium for great pastries, but this deal structure feels like a penalty for variety. A mixed 4-pack should still honor the promotion, especially when both pastries are flagship items.

If they fix the pricing fairness, this would be an easy 5-star bakery. Until then, I'll stick to one type of pastry at a time.
