Came on a thursday night with some friends, we were seated quickly (we had a reservation) & served promptly. The two dark beers that I had were delicious. We started out with the fried cheese curds which came with excellent dipping sauces, then i had the house veggie burger. It was good but a little dry for me so i used leftover sauce from the cheese curds on the burger to spice it up, yum!Voir plus

I had fried chicken & gnocchi. Both presentation & taste were great. The chicken was tender, the breading was savoury & the sauces had personality. The beer was great, I had a sour IPA. The service was solid. We had our service at the bar. The food is a bit pricy, but it's definitely worth the cost. It was more gastronomie than I was expecting. This place is a staple. It's worth the trek off the beaten path near the hype around metro Mont Royal.Voir plus

Great gastropub. Skip the tourist areas & go here to get a real glimpse of the foodie scene. My party ordered a lot on the menu & shared bites. The salmon tartare was phenomenal, the bread & dip while sounds simple was layered with flavors. The bartender recommended a beer I wouldn't normally order, & it was great.
