At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
BOSSA Prêt à manger appears as a go to for generous Italian sandwiches, with favorites like porchetta, diavolo and chicken parmesan, plus cannoli, tiramisu and olive oil cake and a well stocked deli counter; reviews praise fresh ingredients, big portions and good value, while noting that bread quality can vary and the place is very busy with lines and wait times; the staff are frequently described as friendly and efficient, though there are occasional complaints about cleanliness or a chaotic prep area; overall it is hailed as one of Montreal's best sandwich spots and a must visit for fans of hearty Italian fare, with Verdun and Wellington locations both mentioned.
Worth the wait! There's likely to be a lot of people in line but it truly is worth it! Why don't you call that friend you've been meaning to & share some good conversation & laughs over a delicious sandwich? Let's face it they are too big for one person alone. So who could possibly have a issue with a place that allows you to have a great meal & reconnect with a old friend? Certainly not me. Call that friend & have a sandwich 🥪💑
Have mostly ordered through UberEats. When it's good, it's great. The problem is consistency. Have often had issues with sandwiches on day-old bread, missing items, & extremely long preparation times.
Love the food.. when it's good. Best of luck guys. You have a great product but consistency is a real issue.

There's not much more that needs to be said about Bossa that hasn't been said before. If you're reading these reviews because a friend or family member recommended Bossa, or you're just scrolling & saw a 4.8 out of 5 stars here on Google Maps, there's good reason for both.
The sandwiches are some of, if not the best, In Montreal, maybe Quebec even. They are phenomenal, thoughtful creations, well balanced, & delicious. The bread is a perfect amount of soft & pillowy on the inside & great crust. They're sturdy & hold the generous amounts of filling of whatever sandwich you choose.
From the Porchetta, Italiano, Chicken Parm, or their sandwich of the month you really can't go wrong. The ingredients in each have been thoughtfully chosen & play off of each other so nicely.
This Bossa location is small & can definitely get crowded, especially around lunch. If you've got the time the lines usually move pretty quickly & is well worth it & service is usually quick & always has a smile.
This has to be one of the best place for a take out or sit down at counter. Pasta delicious
Coffee OMG
Ricotta lemon cookie.
I give it a 10 on 10.
Pasta to cook at home
Homemade pasta sauce
Subs the size enough for two.
Their new chocolate chunk cookies. Absolutely delicious.
My go to: NY Pep slice with some spicy oil from Welldun, then finished off with a cookie from Bossa. Culinary bliss, or as I call it'A Wellington Special'
'Nuff said.

This was my second time eating at Bossa, this time at a different location, & it was just as good as I remembered.
The breaded chicken sandwich is absolutely amazing - honestly one of the best I've ever had. The combination of flavors is spot on, & it has that comforting, homemade taste that makes it even better.
The staff is friendly, & the place itself is beautiful, with a nice market-style setup where you can also buy products, which adds a really unique touch.
Also, the olive oil cake is delicious & definitely worth trying.
I first had food from Bossa at a friend's birthday party which they catered. On my more recent visit, lunch was every bit as good, maybe even better. Good people. Good food. What more can you ask for?
Regularly visit the Time-Out location, but today I went to the Verdun location for the first time to try the mini egg cannolis, which were fantastic! Amazing staff here, as the employee who served me was extremely friendly & gave me some suggestions. I always get the eggplant parm sandwich, but I wanted to elect for something new today & asked what other vegetarian sandwiches can be served warm. She told me the Caprese sandwich could be grilled & served warm, & this sandwich was absolutely 🔥🔥. Great experience all around & I look forward to visiting regularly!
Had a very weird interaction with the cashier last night. She didn't want to add an extra to my sandwich & then I got home I did not have the extra in my sandwich. Even tho I was charged for the extra hot peppers . Was just a very weird interaction, kinda sad cause I do like the food.
