At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
BOSSA is widely praised for huge, generously packed Italian style sandwiches made to order with high quality ingredients, with many calling it the best in Montreal and nearby areas. Standouts include porchetta, diavolo, chicken parm and a rich array of fillings, and desserts such as tiramisu, cannoli and olive oil cake are highlighted as excellent. Portions are often described as so generous they can feed two, and the overall vibe is a lively, authentic deli with Italian groceries, great coffee and a friendly team. However long waits during peak hours and limited seating are common, and some reviews note occasional bread inconsistencies or a recent bread change before returning to form. A few isolated ordering hiccups are addressed by responsive staff and even owner intervention, leaving many satisfied and willing to return. The experience is considered worth the detour and the drive, with takeout and dine-in both recommended for a reliable, delicious sandwich fix.
Regularly visit the Time-Out location, but today I went to the Verdun location for the first time to try the mini egg cannolis, which were fantastic! Amazing staff here, as the employee who served me was extremely friendly & gave me some suggestions. I always get the eggplant parm sandwich, but I wanted to elect for something new today & asked what other vegetarian sandwiches can be served warm. She told me the Caprese sandwich could be grilled & served warm, & this sandwich was absolutely 🔥🔥. Great experience all around & I look forward to visiting regularly!
Loved the chicken parm & cheese steak sandwiches. The tiramisu is very good as well. I just wasn't a huge fan of the cheese arancini but everything else was good.

Unacceptable.
I ordered a pickup of three sandwiches, arrived home & the chicken parm was raw, literally raw.
I emailed your store to not post on a Google review, but with no response I decided to leave my review.
Thanks for listening.

I would like to edit my review.
Shortly after my posting my review, who I believe is the owner, reached out to me. He apologized for the incident, explained that they were truly sorry & made sure that his team was aware of the situation. I've deceived to alter my review to a 5 star, because we go to restaurants for two reasons, one is obviously for the food, & a close runner up is for the customer service….& it is clear that Bossa delivered the latter.
Given all of this, we will definitely be returning to Bossa & giving them another try!
These must be the best Italian sandwiches in Montreal. Huge & absolutely delicious, every time. My favourites are the pochette & the chicken parm… definitely get them pressed! The shop has a great selection of sauces, fresh & dried pastas, & other specialty foods & a few wines as well.
Delicious sandwiches & a must visit if you're in Montreal! It's a quick stop for lunch or a to-go order. The line may look long, but it moves very quickly. I recommend the chicken
Parmesan or Philly cheesesteak. Both are a classical take on the sandwiches & can be shared for two. For dessert, go for the tiramisu , again another classic version & served just right for two people to split. The coffee ice cream is a big hit too if you're a coffee fan or to try something new. Overall, it's a great stop for lunch & worth the detour.
My favorite place in Montreal for a good sandwich. Their sandwiches are simply delicious & are reasonably priced. Service is great as well. My favorites ones are the diavolo & the chicken parm. Definitely recommend Bossa if you are looking for a good sandwich.

Best Sandwich au Québéc. Je vous suggère de prendre le Porchetta & le Chicken Parm & de les splitter avec votre amoureuse, votre conjoint, votre ami... Bref vous voyez le genre 😉 Garanti que vous allez vous régaler 😋
Bossa on Wellington Street in Verdun is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warmest, friendliest staff who make you feel right at home. The food? Incredible. From the first bite, you can tell everything is crafted with love & care. & the desserts? Simply divine! But the real star of the show is their chicken parm sub-it's hands down the best in Montreal! Perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, & so satisfying, it's worth the trip alone. Highly recommend Bossa for anyone looking for amazing food, a cozy vibe, & top-notch service. This place has quickly become a favorite. Don't miss out!
Insanely good, LARGE sandwiches. Don't go if you're not that hungry. Prices extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. Went most recently after running the Verdun 10k, perfect place after a long workout. Think I've had all three veggie options multiple times, always excellent - really recommend the eggplant parm & the roasted veggies. Not very vegan-friendly without heavy modifications, but they're friendly & open to additions/subtractions, so worth a try if that's your thing. Partner & family have had multiple meat options, always sizable & reportedly delicious. Great little grocery attached for some quality, unique Italian pantry items to-go, too. Also sells prepared salads, sides, & beers. Can be crowded, especially on weekends or sunny days, but the line moves & it's worth the wait.
Staff is super awesome. I ordered the poulet parm, left & when I got in the car, the chicken was cold & hard. This was supposed to be a hot sandwich. Super disappointed. The bread was fresh & fluffy thought.

J'aurais pris moins d'ingrédients & plus de porchetta, but that's me. Worth it 100%. My fav overall Augergine Parm : pas trop lourd, belle sauce tomate, vrmt réussi.
Best sandwich in Montreal! Worth the wait but I suggest your order by phone or online & swing by to pick it up! Great selection of products as well. Top 3 sandwiches (in no particular order) : - Eggplant Parm - Roasted vegetables - Cutlet Don't forget the Cannoli !
This is hands down, the best meatball sandwich I've had in my life!! I added extra Parmesan, chipotle sauce & jalapenos. I could have one of these anytime.
