At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
BOSSA Prêt à manger appears as a go to for generous Italian sandwiches, with favorites like porchetta, diavolo and chicken parmesan, plus cannoli, tiramisu and olive oil cake and a well stocked deli counter; reviews praise fresh ingredients, big portions and good value, while noting that bread quality can vary and the place is very busy with lines and wait times; the staff are frequently described as friendly and efficient, though there are occasional complaints about cleanliness or a chaotic prep area; overall it is hailed as one of Montreal's best sandwich spots and a must visit for fans of hearty Italian fare, with Verdun and Wellington locations both mentioned.
Visited Bossa Prêt-à-Manger on a busy Sunday afternoon. Ordering took just 5 minutes, but we waited around 30 minutes for our food. This felt unreasonable given we only ordered a Philly sandwich (a cold sandwich) & a pre-made potato salad straight from the fridge.
That being said, the food was delicious & offered great value for the price. Despite the long wait for a cold meal, the quality was good enough that we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for the taste, just be prepared to wait when it's crowded!
Ok its busy so busy at the new 10-30 that we went here instead & omg ! It was marvelous....busy but manageable. We she gave the sandwich i literaly laugh because how heavy it was. We had Porchetta rapini & a sausage sandwich & lets just say you can not be disapointed. We loved it & well be back.

They definitely have the best & the biggest sandwiches on Wellington. They are delicious & honestly big enough to feed two people. I do find that sometimes the sandwiches can be too greasy though, still delicious. The only issue is the lineup situation here. When they get busy, there is no real queuing system & you will be waiting for a while to get your food.
Played at a grad in Verdun & discovered BOSSA. The sandwiches were incredible. So much so that this school I played at swears by them. I am going straight over there one day for some food stuffs, & I can't wait! SEE YOU SOON…. EDIT: fast forward to 2025. This place is very very very popular. & very busy. Call in your orders before coming over. ☎?
A small & cute sandwich store. Philly sandwich & canoli were absolutely delicious! Sandwich was filled with toppings & huge portion. Be advised that this is a very busy location & long line ups so plan ahead & wait is normal. I'd love to try other sandwiches on the menu next time.
I recommend the Cutlet 2.0. Great sandwich, reasonably fast service even when busy. Staff all have a good attitude & are very quick. Has very limited seating indoors & outdoors. Variety of food available but their sandwiches are the best.
It was literally the best sandwich I've ever had! This place is awesome, authentic & delicious. It's also crazy busy but the staff are on the ball & they are quick at directing people around, & they do it with a smile. The staff was so friendly & efficient & very helpful. I'm probably going to load up on a few sandwiches for my trip back to New Brunswick.

Yes their sandwiches are good, but they should tell you it's going to take FOURTY FIVE MINUTES to get it when it's busy before you order. If I had know, I would have went someplace else
Good quality sandwiches. We were very full with one each. There is a waiting time but it is understandable because it gets very busy during rush hours. A nice discovery was the Cafe di crema which tasted amazing !
It was really busy when we walked in an hour before close. Despite the many orders, the staff did a great job. Especially the cashier Niara, brought us our sandwhiches with a smile, excellent service!
So yummy!!! Best sandwich I've ever had. Took quite a while to get the food but it was super busy so I understand! Looking forward to eating here again!
Extremely tight shop & it was super busy! But definitely worth the wait! We had the salami, diavolo & chicken parm sandwiches. The parm could use a bit more sauce but the rest were awesome. We also got the orzo pesto pasta salad & it was great!
