At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
Reviews describe BOSSA Prêt à manger as a place for big, flavorful Italian sandwiches with generous fillings and fresh ingredients, from porchetta and chicken parm to sausage and peppers, with crema di café and other desserts earning frequent praise. The staff are repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, with helpful recommendations, though crowds and long lines are common and seating is limited, making the experience feel more takeout focused at peak times. The Dix location on the South Shore is welcomed as a bright, spacious addition with a level of quality similar to the Montreal sites, and overall value is viewed as excellent given the portion sizes and ingredients. Overall, the sandwiches are noted for freshness, the bread is praised, and the atmosphere carries a warm, authentic Italian vibe.
I specifically came to BOSSA for sandwiches, but they weren't available at the time, which was frustrating. Since sandwiches are the main reason people go there, this should be clearly communicated before ordering or arriving.
Overall, the experience felt misleading, & I hope they improve communication so customers know what to expect.
Nouvel emplacement sur la Rive-Sud toujours aussi qualitatif.
Beaucoup de monde aux heures de lunch mais le soir c'est plus tranquille.
Tout est excellent, produits de qualité & sandwich bien garnis.
Laura & Shahd are amazing!! so kind, attentive, & truly provide incredible service. I'll genuinely be coming back just to see them! (The food & coffee are incredible too.) They made my day !
I went to try this place bc the sandwiches looked so good! Unfortunately the service was very very bad in my experience. I ordered a sandwich & they gave me the wrong order, I went to the counter very nicely to explain the situation, the guy in charge of cooking immediately snatched the sandwich from my hands & gave me the good order. Without asking anything else. It seemed like he just wanted me to leave asap. The worst of all, he threw the wrong one in the trash right in front of me & in front of other customers. It felt very disrespectful & unnecessary, a completely waste of food. Why not just let the costumer keep the sandwich. It's really sad bc the food is amazing but I don't know if would go back.

Yes, the sandwiches are delicious but don't skip on the desserts, arancini or peach iced tea. The pro move is to call 20 min in advance to place your order for take-out, because this spot is definitely loved by many. I went at noon on a Saturday & was able to walk up to the 2nd cash & get my order in under 5 minutes because I had called. Limited seating during peak hours. The Milanese is my go-to order but always curious to try the sandwich of the month.
Tried it for the first time-huge, chunky sandwiches (I couldn't finish one on my own).
I had the classic porchetta: very tasty & flavorful , but a bit greasy/fatty for my taste
What a gem! This place is the kind of place you want to tell all your friends & family to go & try it out ! Amazing ingredients, hip place, amazing staff & great vibe.
C'est excellent, tout comme le service. J'ai échappé bêtement la moitié de mon sandwich que je venais de commander & il m'en ont fait un autre complet sans hésité & sans que je le demande moi-même. EXCELLENT ! Merci Emilie & l'équipe
