Terrible terrible terrible service & poor way to celebrate my mother's birthday. I hope management make refinements so that other people do not experience the poor service my family did. We went on August 1st at 8:00pm. Host (they seemed to be the lead staff during this shift) seated us, & was quick to set up our table-perfect! My dad asked if they had beer, to which the staff said, « give me three seconds »......we ended up waiting 20 minutes. There were 3 other staff members tending to the patio tables, where they seemed to be welcoming & regularly available. However the inside tables were just as busy....but no staff whatsoever batted an eye towards our corner window table. Need I mention this whole time we didnt even have water...the bare minimum....I even reluctantly became that person who full on waved their arms up in the air, & said « excuse me » whenever one of the staff passed by. Still not even a glance. The table next to us was experiencing the same poor service, but they at least had water. It took our table & the neighboring table to wave down a server to which I pointed out « at this point we just want water » The lead staff shortly came by as my dad simultaneously waved him down & took our order. They were kinda rude, & didn't create a welcoming atmosphere. We placed an order for paella, calamari & asparagus. We were served the paella quite timely. The calamari & asparagus...& staff were nowhere to be seen. Another 20 minutes later we finished the paella & was finally able to flag down a staff. I told him that we were still waiting on our calamari & asparagus. He said he was going to check up on it but yet again never came back to give us an update. Considering that the calamari & asparagus were sides, it was pretty clear that the lead staff who took our order forgot to punch in those items. We ended up walking up to a staff, canceling the items in the items, & getting the bill instead. The restaurant was perhaps at 70% capacity. There were tables available, & groups of 2-4 people having dinner here. There were no large parties that perhaps would've taken up the availability of a server. It was just as busy inside as it was out on the patio. Yet there didn't seem to be enough staff for the inside tables. So to experience the service that we did makes me feel beyond disappointed. & for this to have been my moms birthday celebration is just too bad.
Ambiance sympathique.
The pluses: the service was good, the restaurant had nice decor, the croquettes were delicious, the location was central in Old Montreal. The minuses: the paella was way too salty, the charcuterie platter was overpriced for the amount of food, the inside chairs were uncomfortable to lean back in.
Unexpected beautiful terrace & well designed inside out. having great time with freshly & tasty food. Seafood cooked perfectly, every was delightful. Paella was less interesting:to salty dry rice over cooked. Small bites of Seafood were so good! our favorite of that plate Simple menu allowed to be the best. great place to eat tapas. Definitely I recommend & will be back.

I really recommend this new tapas bar located in Old Port. My favorite was the Bikini Ibérico with the full truffle taste, affordable & definitely getting it again. The squid ink rice paella is a killer, so delish, you can never go wrong with squid ink. The Tres Leche was really spongy & good. We had a prosceco & the mango wine cocktail. The mango & wine cocktail was really interesting with a summer taste.
We were there yesterday, we enjoyed it.. Food was amazing: we ordered paella (black y rice) ,croquettes, patatas bravas & pan con tomate. We will be back soon.

Cuisson, service & ambiance impeccable. Je l'ai recommandé à tous mes proches!
La Boqueria is a new hidden gem we stumbled upon during a sunny Saturday stroll. We tried their signature cocktails( rlly recommend you try their melon picada), a few tapas, & ofc we couldn't resist ordering the paella that our waitress recommended- it was delicious!A huge thank you to Alexandra for her incredible service & recommendations, she was genuinely so lovely!! Looking forward to returning to sample the grilled fish, which unfortunately wasn't available during our visit.
