From the greeting to the dessert, excellence! George & all the staff were wonderful, as were the shrimp & scallop appetizer, the lamb shank, the lobster, & the chocolate chip soufflet. A wonderful restaurant for any special occasion.

Une expérience mémorable, une très belle ambiance, les serveurs était très professionnel méritant une étoile Michelin. La nourriture était très bonne avec de bonnes portions, je le recommande fortement!!

Great experience in terms of the ambience & location, but the food was not up to par considering the prices. The rack of lamb main was not seasoned well, no salt, & similar story with the sauce. The explanation from the kitchen was that the meat is not seasoned a lot, which doesn't make sense to me. The beef tartare & accompanying fries along with the goat cheese appetizer was a pleasant eating experience in comparison, which is why I left an average review.

Les cocktails & les plats sont top. L'ambiance musicale est 100% française. Zero attente pour nous ce soir. Un repas bouclé en 1h30.
Le soufflé est parfaitement exécuté.
Je recommande si vous chercher un bon français dans le Vieux-Montréal.
1ere fois : Magnifique expérience ! De l'entrée au dessert en passant par les cocktails & recommandations de vin de choix ! Un grand bravo à l'équipe qui nous fait sentir être des princes. Je recommande vivement le profiterole avec son choux maison. Un délice !!

It's no wonder Restaurant Bonaparte came sooooooooo highly recommended!!!!!!!

As two very seasoned Montreal foodies , we came to celebrate hurricane grandma's 97th
Birthday -

Well,they knocked the ball right out of the park & here is why ;

- The dining room is old Montreal charming & Frederic made sure we overlooked old cobblestone streets while sitting next to a lovely fireplace - He was so gracious & welcoming .

George's the Maite d' was so very welcoming & warm. Audrey & Catherine' made sure we were completely taken care of this evening to the finest detail .

Oh my goodness ,let's take a moment & describe dinner . My leg iof lamb was braised to perfection , the mashed potatoes were sooooo yummy -Hurricane Grandma's golden dore was equally delectable - I loooved my Bloody Mary etc

dessert was more than fabulous -lemon tart & cheese cake .

The evening was absolutely divine -
They checked all the nano boxes -
We can't wait to come back ❤?❤?❤?🥰

Merci à Frédéric & à toute l'équipe, pour avoir accommodé mes clients, pour un anniversaire. Ils étaient 16 personnes samedi dernier avec deux tables bien placées à l'arrière.

My wife & I enjoyed a beautiful evening from start to finish. The ambiance is simply perfect for a romantic night, elegant, intimate, & full of charm. It creates that special atmosphere where you can truly slow down & enjoy each other's company.
The service was outstanding. Attentive, warm, & perfectly paced, making us feel welcomed & cared for throughout the evening without ever being intrusive.
The food, as always, was exceptional. Every dish was refined, beautifully presented, & full of flavor. You can truly feel the consistency & passion behind every plate.
Restaurant Bonaparte is always on point. A perfect setting for a romantic dinner, & an experience we will definitely cherish.
