I recently visited Bonab Kabob on Sherbrooke St West in Montreal & had a great experience. I ordered the Bonab kebab with rice & salad along with a Persian Doogh, & everything was delicious. The portions were impressively large, definitely more than enough for one person.
We were served by Elmira, who was incredibly nice & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. After our meal, she also brought us Persian tea, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, & the service was outstanding. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine!
This place is truly a gem in Montreal! I love the attention to detail in the decor. Just look at that stunning ceiling! The authentic Persian music instantly transports you to another place, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. Overall, everything was pleasant & enjoyable.
However, I did want to mention that there were some challenges with the service. Some guests at our table only spoke French, & the staff was unable to attend to them in their language, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, it was sometimes difficult to get the attention of the staff when needed, as they were often distracted behind the counter.
Despite these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its ambiance & authentic flavors.

We had a great time at the restaurant! The main dish comes with your choice of ash or salad - we chose the ash, & it was absolutely delicious.
We ordered the Bonab kebab, which was flavorful. After the meal, they kindly offered complimentary tea.
The restaurant was clean, & the staff were very warm & welcoming. I was especially touched by the beautiful photos of Iranian cities hung on the wall- they added a charming & authentic atmosphere.

Bonab is a gem of a Persian restaurant with incredibly kind & welcoming staff who always go out of their way to make us feel at home. It's a BYOW (bring your own wine) place, which makes it even more perfect for a fun evening with friends.
We usually go as a large group of 10 or more, & they handle everything so smoothly-from seating to service. The food is always fresh, authentic, & absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the love & tradition in every dish.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy amazing Iranian cuisine in a cozy & friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Bonab Kabob serves Kale Pache just right-rich, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. The broth is delicious, the meat is tender, & the portion is generous. Paired with fresh bread & lemon, it's a delicious & authentic experience. Friendly service makes it even better. A must-try for Kale Pache lovers!
Bonab Kebob is hands down one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The kebabs are juicy & tender, especially the koobideh, which melts in your mouth. Their saffron rice is fragrant & pairs
perfectly with the grilled meats.
Beyond the food, the service is top-notch-friendly, attentive, & welcoming. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals & special occasions.

The atmosphere is pleasant, but the kebab was disappointing-it didn't taste authentic. Additionally, the rice had an unpleasant smell, which overall fell far below my expectations.

The Best Iranian Kebab in Montreal! I recently visited kebab Bonab in Montreal, & it absolutely lives up to its reputation as the #1 spot for authentic Iranian kebabs. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere & the aroma of freshly grilled kebabs set the tone for a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional! The koobideh was perfectly seasoned, tender, & juicy - easily the best I've had outside of Iran. The portions were generous, & the sides (especially the saffron rice & grilled tomatoes) complemented the meal beautifully. The service was attentive & friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the kebab. I tried the Koobideh kebab, Tursh kebab,kebab Barg & it was simply sublime. The minced meat was expertly seasoned, perfectly grilled. Each bite was juicy & tender, accompanied by fluffy saffron rice that complemented the kebab beautifully. The grilled tomatoes & peppers on the side added a lovely smoky flavor that took the dish to another level. The menu features a variety of kebab options, including Joojeh kebab (chicken) & Barg kebab (lamb), all of which are marinated to perfection & cooked on a traditional skewer. The freshness of the ingredients is evident, & you can taste the love & care that goes into every dish. In addition to the kababs, I highly recommend trying the Mirza Ghasemi, a smoky eggplant dip, kashkBademjan , & Mast musir & their special Olive. The atmosphere is cozy, with Persian decor that creates a welcoming environment, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. The service was impeccable-attentive but not intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bonab Restaurant! I ordered the kobideh & bonab kebab for takeaway, & I must say, they are the best by far-delicious & amazing in every bite. The flavors were perfectly balanced, truly capturing the essence of authentic Iranian cuisine. The service was quick & the food was well-packaged, maintaining its warmth & freshness. I would 100% recommend this gem to anyone craving a taste of Iran.

A nice & cozy place to enjoy authentic, fresh, & delicious Persian food. The service & servers are excellent, the meat is tender, juicy & tasty, & the side dishes are truly amazing & the portions are way too generous. I very much love this restaurant & would highly recommend visiting here if you're interested.
