We were excited to try this restaurant but were a bit let down overall. The staff were all very friendly which is the biggest positive. Our server made good menu recommendations for us which was helpful!
Our reservation was at 8:30 but we weren't sat until 9pm which wasn't great. The service was a bit slow all evening but not terrible.
The food was good for the most part. We ordered the beet salad, focaccia, carpaccio, tortellini pasta, rapini & the chicken parm. The pasta was our favourite dish. We would definitely not recommend the rapini, it was by far our least favourite. The cocktails were quite good & I found they were unique recipes.
Unfortunately, I would not say this place is l worth the hype & will not be returning.
What a fantastic restaurant! Centrally located near Notre-Dame Basilica, it's tucked into a quaint corner with a beautiful bar & a really inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & took the time to answer all of our questions & make great recommendations.
Everything we ordered was delicious! We enjoyed the beef carpaccio, cacio e pepe, & chicken Parmesan, but the real standouts were the bolognese, homemade focaccia, & eggplant Parmesan. The bolognese was incredible; little pasta pillows stuffed with soft, creamy potato & served with the most decadent bolognese sauce. The focaccia was homemade & absolutely delicious, & the eggplant Parmesan was one of our favorites.
The cheesecake was the perfect way to finish the meal, & the complimentary shots were such a fun surprise!
Great food, great service, & a wonderful atmosphere. We had the best evening & would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a memorable meal.
Was visiting Vieux Port with my daughter in July 2026. Stopped in to have an appetizer & cocktails. Very beautiful restaurant inside a gorgeous building. Wait staff were very friendly, knowledgeable & service was excellent. We ordered an Aperol & Hugo Spritz with focaccia & calimari fritti. Delicious. Loved being able to relax & enjoy the atmosphere of the space. Would visit again!
Absolutely loved our dinner at Bocca di Lupo. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh, flavourful & beautifully prepared.
We started with the focaccia & beef carpaccio, followed by the scallop crudo. For our mains, we shared the branzino with clams, the tortelli with mascarpone & ragù, & the rapini, all excellent. The flavours were refined without being fussy, & you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.
We were celebrating my gf's birthday, so of course we had dessert. The tiramisu was a surprise highlight. She usually isn't a tiramisu fan & absolutely loved it. The chocolate crumble added such a great texture.
A great new addition to Old Montreal. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere & definitely a place we'll come back to.
Stumbled into this place on accident & wow it was such a treat. My partner & I had a few cocktails, the beef carpaccio, focaccia, & two incredible pasta dishes. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Service & vibes were outstanding.
We had the great pleasure of visiting Bocca Di Lupo last night while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We made this reservation same day & were surprised that they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday night.
I will say up front, that this restaurant is five stars for every category. If you wish, you can stop reading now & just make your reservation.
Our experience right from arrival was beyond expectation. The service was impeccable from the friendly greeting as we arrived to the seating to the bartender, Tristan. Tristan was exceptionally good; having just the right amount of social interaction but never too much. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him throughout the evening. His expert crafting of our cocktails & timely menu advice were greatly appreciated.
The food was simply…so good. The chef was clearly top shelf as every entrée that we observed was incredible. We had read the previous reviews & of course followed other's advice. We started with Insalata Mista which was light & citrusy with a beautifully created dressing that complimented the ingredients perfectly. Alongside the entire meal we enjoyed the Homemade Focaccia which did not disappoint. Light & soft on the inside, perfectly crusty on the outside with the perfect amount of sea salt & olive oil distributed throughout, just as promised in previous reviews. For the mains we enjoyed the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana & the Gnocchi Di Ricatta… also, as previously reviewed & prepared perfectly. I will not get into the details here as I've already gone on too long.
I simply cannot provide a higher recommendation for this restaurant. The owners & the Chef have created a real gem in the heart of the Old Port that will not be hidden for long.
We found this place on our last night in Montreal. We were able to get a reservation for that evening but definitely book in advance. Our waitress Kiara (sorry for misspelling) was wonderful & very attentive. She made great suggestions & recommended a delicious cheesecake dessert. She had told us the restaurant is fairly new, but feels like the place has been there for years with how well everyone worked together. The cocktail list had flavorful drinks, & my friend really enjoyed the array of wines they offered.
We started with fresh focaccia which was baked well. We then ordered the gnocchi which again tasted delicious. My friends both had the chicken Parm which they enjoyed. I had the cacio de pepe which was done to my liking. Will definitely return next time we are in the city.
