Great Italian spot in Old Montreal. All of the staff were very welcoming. The cacio e pepe was cooked perfectly & the chicken parm was delicious! Great cocktail selection & the ambience is really nice inside as well. Cant wait to come back & try some more dishes next time I'm in MTL!
We had the great pleasure of visiting Bocca Di Lupo last night while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We made this reservation same day & were surprised that they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday night.
I will say up front, that this restaurant is five stars for every category. If you wish, you can stop reading now & just make your reservation.
Our experience right from arrival was beyond expectation. The service was impeccable from the friendly greeting as we arrived to the seating to the bartender, Tristan. Tristan was exceptionally good; having just the right amount of social interaction but never too much. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him throughout the evening. His expert crafting of our cocktails & timely menu advice were greatly appreciated.
The food was simply…so good. The chef was clearly top shelf as every entrée that we observed was incredible. We had read the previous reviews & of course followed other's advice. We started with Insalata Mista which was light & citrusy with a beautifully created dressing that complimented the ingredients perfectly. Alongside the entire meal we enjoyed the Homemade Focaccia which did not disappoint. Light & soft on the inside, perfectly crusty on the outside with the perfect amount of sea salt & olive oil distributed throughout, just as promised in previous reviews. For the mains we enjoyed the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana & the Gnocchi Di Ricatta… also, as previously reviewed & prepared perfectly. I will not get into the details here as I've already gone on too long.
I simply cannot provide a higher recommendation for this restaurant. The owners & the Chef have created a real gem in the heart of the Old Port that will not be hidden for long.
What an incredible experience at Bocca di Lupo! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The food was outstanding-the appetizers were delicious, & the steak was cooked to perfection. You can really taste the authenticity; it felt like true traditional Italian cuisine, & the menu perfectly matches the vibe.
The hospitality & service were 10/10. Jamie & Camilo went above & beyond to make us feel welcome, & their kindness & attention to detail truly made the evening special. Hospitality at its finest-you couldn't ask for more.
Highly recommend, & we can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, & beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality & passion behind every dish. From the first bite to the last, everything was satisfying & authentic. The atmosphere adds to the experience - elegant yet comfortable & cozy. Highly recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing experience at Bocca Di Lupo!! The food was incredible, the gnocchi was one of the best dishes I've had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding, with attentive & friendly staff who made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, & welcoming. New addition to Old Montreal for modern Italian.
Every dish was stellar, from the delicate beef carpaccio, to my favourite dish of the night, the citrusy/salty branzino crudo. The calamari was light & perfectly crisp, & the gnocchi was rich, pillows of comfort food… The steak for two was cooked to a perfect temp with great flavor throughout.
***The mixed berry cheese cake is very necessary***
Prices were good, quality was extraordinary.
Service by Naïza (I asked specifically for the spelling so she got a shoutout, not a friend or acquaintance review) was impeccable, attentive & warm.
All in all a brilliant meal! Will definitely make my way back there again.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, vibrant, & authentically Italian without trying too hard. The service was flawless, attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about the food & wine.
Every dish was outstanding. The ingredients were clearly top quality, & the execution was spot on: simple, refined, & full of flavour. You can really feel the regional Italian influence in every plate, with a menu that changes often & keeps things exciting.
The pasta was a highlight...perfectly cooked & beautifully balanced. Pair that with an excellent wine list & thoughtful recommendations from the staff, & the whole experience just comes together seamlessly.
It's rare to find a place that delivers at this level across the board-food, service, atmosphere-all top tier. Easily one of the best Italian meals I've had.

How they have the nerve to call this place Italian is beyond me. Nothing about it reflects Italian cuisine or hospitality.
The service is abysmal. The staff act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, with an attitude that borders on contempt. It feels more like a curated'scene' than a restaurant that actually cares about its guests.
The food is simply inexcusable. Not just disappointing-genuinely unpleasant. I ordered seafood that smelled off & ended up feeling sick afterward. That's not bad dining, that's unacceptable.
The atmosphere doesn't help either. It feels staged & artificial, like the room is filled with insiders rather than real customers. There's no authenticity, no warmth-just a forced, hollow vibe.
& those 5-star reviews? Hard to take them seriously. It honestly feels like they're coming from employees or people tied to the place, not genuine customers.
Save your money. There are far better options that actually respect both the cuisine & the people they serve.
Response to the owner: Calling a negative review'non-genuine' instead of addressing it is easier, I guess. This was a real visit, & the issues I mentioned stand. If your first instinct is to deny rather than reflect, that explains the experience perfectly.
