Manuel Martins, ex owner and Chef of «Le Vintage», is back with a new concept, at a new address. The Boca Iberica is located on Rachel Street, right in the heart of Le Plateau. As soon as you walk in you will be astonished by the modern and trendy look enhanced by soft lounge music, a beautiful bar, and the smell of a cuisine blend of Portuguese and Spanish flavors.
The dishes on the menu are made from a great selection of tasty fresh tapas and an array of fresh fishes. We will be most happy to welcome groups celebrating any events. We also offer gluten-free dishes. Our restaurant stays open late so you can fully benefit of your evening.
During summertime, you can enjoy dining on our beautiful terrace. We recommend reservations at all times in order not to be disappointed!

Delicious tapa, excellent wine well matched to the fare, & attentive service. Friendly chef, knowledgeable staff, & welcoming clientele. Affordable & easy to get a table. Convenient in Le Plateau. 5 stars all around. The food was superb The service was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was knowledgeable , friendly & non-intrusive. He was attentive without making us feel rushed. Our dishes were delicious The Portuguese wine delicious but reasonably priced. My wife & I were transported back to Portugal which we visited last year. Highly recommend this establishment without reservation!!
Wow. What a Portuguese treasure everything authentic right down to the beer. We shared different appetizers.we even shared the desserts & they were amazing. Great selection of Portuguese wines. The employees were super nice & helpful. Definitely a keeper on my list.
We were craving Portuguese food & picked this place on a whim. We are so glad that we did. After spending time in Portugal, we developed a deep love for its polvo, arroz de marisco & pastel de nata. Here, we were able to taste such authentic & delicious renditions. We also loved the white wine from Douro Valley. Our compliments to the chef & staff! It was definitely one of our favorite dining experiences in Montreal. Obrigada!
The food & service was great. We loved the grilled octopus, the cod croquettes & the bread with olive oil. The seafood & rice, as well as the special Portuguese dessert were exceptional. The restaurant was clean & agreeable. One deception - the pork & clam dish was much too salty! We'll return for sure.
AMAZING food & service. Always a pleasure to eat at Boca Iberica. Authentic Portuguese delicacies wrapped in warm comfy service in a casual athmosphere. Great place for small groups or larger families. Andy & team will make you feel at home.

Authentic Portuguese food, quaint, friendly & very nice ambiance for a night out with friends or family. Service was excellent. Food was very good. You can see they put a lot of pride in what they do. Will for sure be going back with other friends & family.
AWESOME Food & great service! Authentic Portuguese cuisine with Spanish influences. Probably one of the best fish we've had in Montreal. The seafood entrés were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it & will be back shortly!
We love the freshness & variety of the Portuguese restaurant. After several bad experiences at other new places we came back to a place we trust & we're not disappointed. It was a quiet night & so ambiancewise could have been more fun, but the food & wine were top drawe
A warm welcome & adequate covid measures. We had the recommended grilled calamare & swordfish. Both paired with a nice portuguese white wine. Both dishes were simple, but very tasty, compliments to the family recipe. Overall it was a relaxed atmospere, but still the crew was always attentive.
Absolutely lovely time here! The food was fresh & delicious, seafood perfection. The grilled calamari & garlic shrimp were stand out items, along with the octopus salad. Great Portuguese wine options as well. 10/10 would go back!

I had lunch on the terrace which was lovely. The calamar stuffed with chorizo was fabulous as were both the soup (exceptional) & salad. The service was excellent. One of the best Portuguese restaurants in Montreal. Next time I'll go in the evening & eat inside where the decor is very chic.
