Manuel Martins, ex owner and Chef of «Le Vintage», is back with a new concept, at a new address. The Boca Iberica is located on Rachel Street, right in the heart of Le Plateau. As soon as you walk in you will be astonished by the modern and trendy look enhanced by soft lounge music, a beautiful bar, and the smell of a cuisine blend of Portuguese and Spanish flavors.
The dishes on the menu are made from a great selection of tasty fresh tapas and an array of fresh fishes. We will be most happy to welcome groups celebrating any events. We also offer gluten-free dishes. Our restaurant stays open late so you can fully benefit of your evening.
During summertime, you can enjoy dining on our beautiful terrace. We recommend reservations at all times in order not to be disappointed!
BOCA Iberica offers a warm and welcoming dining experience with fresh, authentic Portuguese inspired dishes served in a modern neighborhood setting. Reviewers praise crispy cod fritters, light fried calamari, chorizo with hummous, octopus salad, sardines, and a range of seafood dishes including a seafood rice that are flavorful and well executed. Tapas are a standout with ever changing options, while cocktails like Bloody Caesar and a Manhattan pair nicely with the fare and the wine selection is well matched to the dishes. Desserts such as chocolate mousse are delightful and service is consistently attentive and friendly. The atmosphere feels lively yet intimate, with generous portions and a sense of easy camaraderie, making it a place that guests plan to return to.
First time at this fantastic restaurant, a must-try! There was a set menu for Valentine's Day, but they were happy to make us an extra order of codfish croquettes which were delicious. Cocktails were great, Bloody Caesar & a Manhattan. Starters were the beef tartare & chorizo with hummous, all delicious. Main meals were the seafood rice & braised beef, both outstanding. Dessert was a great chocolate mousse. The service was excellent & the atmosphere was warm & friendly. We will absolutely go back so we can take advantage of their tapas menu.
Hands down a winner- will return! Lovingly prepared, authentic & fresh, proudly served Portuguese delights. A modern appearance with a neighbourhood feeling. Delicious tapa, excellent wine well matched to the fare, & attentive service. Friendly chef, knowledgeable staff, & welcoming clientele. Affordable & easy to get a table. Convenient in Le Plateau. Everyone welcome- families, people of every background who enjoy fantastic food & easy camaraderie.

We were a party of 6 & everyone enjoyed their meals. 2 of us chose tapas style & selected several small plates; the grilled octopus was tender & tasty, the clams were so sweet & delicious you had to dunk bread in the juices at the bottom of the bowl. We had two types of croquettes cod which was so light & airy & beef which was fresh & flavorful. & finally we had the daily special of crispy octopus salad which was tender, plentiful & satisfying. The others enjoyed main entrees . Which included steak & rice & seafood. The restaurant is pretty, spacious & the staff is welcoming. We recommend giving it a try.
Very attentive service & delicious tapas. Seafood is very fresh & the salads were delicious. Music selection not great would have liked something a bit more low key like jazz .
Wow. What a fantastic meal. We were four & shared tapas all evening & every dish was fantastic. Wine prices are very good & our server recommended good bottles.
Donc attention. 4 étoiles pour ça sinon ça aurait été 5/5. Pour le service: impeccable. Encore une fois, très bon. A refaire.
Again, Boca Iberica was wonderful. Very delicious tapas, excellent & friendly service & all of this in a very welcoming atmosphere. Of course we'll be back !
