We had a miscommunication between our group & when we arrived we realized that we did not have a reservation for our group of 7 with a baby & they came to the rescue! They accommodated our group & saved our birthday brunch. Food was amazing & coffee & matcha were great! Got recommended the pudding chomeur & we already talking about going back for another one!
relaxing to sit outside. food was good but maybe something you could make at home if you're decent at cooking. coffee was a bit average, burnt espresso & over steamed milk- not the worst, certainly not the best. just do not get the caesar though if you want a good caesar, tasted mostly like water. i'd give bloomfield a 3.5 if i could, it was good-ish but i wouldn't go out of my way to go back
Brunched here , the presentation of the plates are beautiful , the food is good , it's average . However, the coffee was terrible , the Americano & the iced coffee looked & tasted like dirty water . Very disappointing for a coffee lover .
2nd time at Bloomfield. 97$ for 2 egg dishes, 2 coffees & a juice. Got offered extra halloumi, said no & got it served & invoiced anyway. Payment terminal offers 18% tip as first option. Overall overpriced, overrated & disappointing. We'll never come back or recommend anymore.
We went there for brunch on Sunday morning. We reserved a table so we didn't need to wait. The service was fast & the staff were friendly. Around 1 pm, although we still have coffee to finish, we are asked to leave for the next round of reservations. It was okay for us to leave at the moment but it would have been better if we knew for how long we had the table.. We ordered mushroom toast ($22) & it was delicious & light. If you are too hungry it might not be enough but it's good amount for breakfast. They don't serve filter coffee which I usually go with for brunch. They serve espresso based drinks. We had americano & pistachio latte. Both were good. Overall, we enjoyed the brunch. Especially being under the colorful flowers was very nice 🌼
This was a fun place for brunch to meet some friends. We had reserved beforehand which is essential since the restaurant is small. There's plenty of on-street parking close by. The coffee was good with proper bowls of Café au lait. The menu has a middle eastern twist & I had the Palestinian Eggs. Everyone enjoyed the food. So this was a thoroughly enjoyable visit, & well worth travelling from Verdun.
Food took close to 1hr to arrive after we ordered from the waiter. Waiter didn't visit us after serving us. No one asked if we were pleased with our food. No coffee refill.
Cute restaurant in Outremont, food is fine but very overpriced for the value you receive. The staff is not well trained, & sometimes speak either French or English, that makes some mistakes on the menu order. Coffee is very bof, orange juice is almost 6$.. you can try the Turkish eggs to taste an original brunch, 🍳
Great little brunch spot! Tasty, original dishes, nice change to classic Québécois brunch menus.
Room for improvement on coffee quality but overall delightful
Food & coffee were delicious! We found the service to be slow at first (they took the order of the people beside us before ours, even though both tables arrived at the same time) & the seating was quite tight. I suppose that's what you get with the Sunday brunch rush. Otherwise very yummy & highly recommend for a unique take on brunch in Montreal! I had the Turkish eggs & my friend had the French toast – both excellent!
Great coffees & ambiance superb quality of food.
Three of us ordered the Palestinian plate. I & another enjoyed it very much especially the lamb keftas, My husband thought it was just OK because he claims his own eggs Shakshuka are better (I don't see the comparison). Two at our table ordered the Jerusalem platter. While very tasty & popular from the orders I saw around the room, we found it overpriced. Coffee was very good & my flat white was delicious. The three stars relates to the decor, charming but shabby, the space - tight & awkward, the seating, very uncomfortable, especially since two in our party were elderly & used canes. Service was polite & efficient.
Although the food was delicious & the restaurant very pretty, I found it overpriced for what we got & definitely not enough beverage choices for non-coffee drinkers. The waiters also lacked attention to detail. I would give it 3.5/5.
