Nous étions 4 à commander le fish & chips : poisson pané surgelé commercial & panure de chapelure dure pas digne de votre restaurant. On aurait dû commander un hamburger.
It was unfortunately quite loud on the evening we went, such that we could not engage in conversation. Perhaps we should have checked first about the musical accompaniment taking place. The music was very nice, but too loud for this commentator's sensitive ears. Our waitress was phenomenal given she was serving the entire restaurant single-handedly.
The fish portion of the fish & chips platter was over cooked : the fish was very dry & the batter very hard to cut through.
Great service, hospitality & food. The only deception was that my wife was set on having Fish & Chips yesterday evening it was also in part the reason for our outing. She loves this dish at Le Relais. Our reservation was for 6:30. The fish & chips were on the menu but to be told they were out of Fish & Chips. We felt it was early in the evening to be out of them. For the rest our order was good!
