Finally making a point of adding this review after countless meals that were absolutely superb. Louie & Renee know exactly what they're doing & they do it so well. If you are looking for an unpretentious vibe with great music, where you will simultaneously be blown away by unique & truly delicious food - Franquette is your answer. Gorgeous wine choices, insane desserts, & a menu that has never once let me down! That's why I keep going back.

Quite simply a wonderful dining experience. Attentive, professional service delivered with a very positive attitude. The menu had some unique offerings that were'across the board' delicious. I highly recommend Bistro La Franquette!
One of my few favourite restaurants in Montreal. Everything from the food to the service is A+. Me & my girlfriend have come here many times - the food & service always holds up. My personal favourite dish is the hangar steak. Good job to everybody who works here - keep it up :)
J'ai adorée mon expérience, tout était délicieux. Nous avions le menu 5 services pour la Saint-Valentin & nous n'avons pas été déçu du tout. Le service était également excellent!
Came here based on a recommendation by a friend. Did not disappoint! Warm, trendy & inviting atmosphere with impeccable service. The dishes were absolutely next level, packed with perfectly balanced flavours. Try the halloumi entrée & the sea bass! Will absolutely be going back.
First time at this restaurant & it was extremely enjoyable. Best dining experience I've had in Montreal this year. The team went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking & you can tell the place is run by seasoned veterans. Great atmosphere too
I went here for mtl a table (83$). While the restaurant is charming & the service was above average, I am not super thrilled with my experience. Most of the cocktails were over 20$, which is puzzling when looking at the ingredient list. The portions were minuscule & my 3 slices of steak were tragically underseasoned (I asked for salt but still...) the creme caramel, while delicious, would have been better had the caramel not been burnt & the slice of carrot cake we got was comically small. The final slap in the face was the credit card machine having 18% as the first tip option. Restaurants need to stop doing this... it puts a bad taste in the customer's mouth no matter how well their evening went. In conclusion, I felt like this restaurant was trying to squeeze every penny out of me with the highest priced mtl a table menu, stingy portions & suggested 18% tip minimum.
Dined for MTL A Table. It is a small place, if you are taller ask for a table with chairs as you will be a lot more comfortable. The two seater booths are made for children. The food is exquisite, the haloumi & sourdough were not to my liking & lacked a punch, but the risotto & creme caramel dessert were flawless. It was probably the best creme caramel I've ever had. Service is attentive.
Went here for my birthday & it's now our new favorite restaurant in Montreal! The food was beyond amazing from start to finish; we had their MTL à la table menu & got to try everything. It was well worth the price! One thing that really stood out was their impeccable service. Everyone was so warm & attentive, it enhanced our dining experience & made my birthday feel even more special. Thank you again & can't wait to come back!!

We don't normally venture this far from our own part of the city (Rosemont/Plateau) to go out for a meal because we are spoiled with options around there - but we are SO glad we came to La Franquette for MTL a Table. The service was top notch, the space is chic & calm, & the food was truly unforgettable & generously portioned. The highlights were the cocktails, the homemade halloumi, the risotto (which I usually hate!!!), &.. ok the whole meal. Thank you! We will definitely be back.
Une cuisine locale raffinée aux techniques parfaitement exécutées. Les assiettes sont généreuses, goûteuses. Ça vaut la peine de casser sa tirelire pour un service complet accompagné d'une carte de vin soigneusement choisie. Une grande attention est portée aux allergies, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus réconfortante. Le service est impeccable.
I recently moved from Montreal, & I can say without hesitation this is the place my partner & I will be missing the most. Renée, Corrine & the whole team are a delight. The food is outstanding & their service is the best you will find in the city. If you want to have a beautiful restaurant experience, this is it.
