Had the smash burger which was great & hit the spot. The tater tots were also perfectly crispy, right on the money. The wings were good, however did not arrive warm or hot, almost slightly cold. Their wings are larger than most wings. The legendary buffalo sauce was good & not overly spicy with a nice tang.
Overall the service was great, the prices are reasonable & food is tasty, although nothing was very unique or out of this world. The large selection of rubs/sauce flavours for the wings is great.
L'endroit se spécialise dans les ailes de poulet, il y a une grande diversité de sauces/marinades. Cependant, lorsque l'on paye près de 20$ pour seulement 7 petites ailes, on s'attend à ce qu'il y ait au moins un ou deux accompagnements(que ce soit une salade/frite). Mais ce n'est pas le cas, il faut débourser des frais supplémentaires si on veut avoir un'à côté'. Ce qui est quand même un peu décevant. J'ai goûté aux nachos & ils sont très secs (& sans viande, à moins de payer encore un 6-8$). On les a fait retourner en cuisine pour avoir plus de sauce & de saveur. C'est un peu dommage de payer près de 60$/personne quand on prend seulement un verre, une entrée & 7 ailes.
Par contre, le personnel est souriant, très charismatique & il est très à l'écoute de nos besoins.

Portion sizes are very generous. The cauliflower tacos are excellent. The sweet potato fries are amazing. The Nashville fried chicken is very good but lacks heat level. The wings were disappointing. They lacked heat for buffalo wings & we're a little undercooked so we're definitely not fall off the bone. But the most disappointing was the poutine. Although they use home cut fries, they skimp on the cheese & the sauce is a little bland. Would go again for the tacos
Absolutely nailed it. The wings were crispy & full of flavour. Decent portion sizes, solid variety, & everything came out hot & fresh. The service was friendly, extremely attentive & they staff were ALLLLLL super kind. Really an attentive team!
If you're craving wings, this spot is a no-brainer. We also had a kale salad & fries. Equally as delish. The only thing I would suggest is more sauce on the wings, like to the point I need to like lick my fingers? But I'm sure I could have asked & gotten plenty more sauce!
Great place to go, especially if you'd like to do some sort of sharing option. It is a lot of fun!
Excellent endroit! L'ambiance est chaleureuse & accueillante. Plusieurs délicieux choix de sauces pour les amateurs de Wings. Les frites maisons sont croustillante & moelleuse & la slaw était bien équilibré! Le service était spectaculaire - Merci Olivier pour avoir rehausser de loin notre expérience au Birdhouse! Vous avez été merveilleux, à l'écoute, transparent & passionné. C'est beau à voir 👌 Let's be friends 😊
Accueil chaleureux & merci Amélie pour votre service impeccable. On a commandé 2 fish & chips. Les portions étaient tellement généreuses qu'on aurait pu en prendre qu'une seule portion pour 2. Les ailes Pepe en entrée étaient sublimes avec sauce au parmesan a côté. & que dire du gâteau au chocolat. Wow! Nous y retournerons pour essayer d'autres ailes.

For a place called BIRDhouse I'd expect the wings to be fire but sadly they fell short. Not very meaty & dry plus they didn't come w anything on side - carrots , sauce…nothing. & for 34$ I wasn't expecting to pay an extra 6$ for two dips. On a positive note, the service was great , very attentive. Overall def not worth the price.
Good ambiance, clean restaurant, serving was polite & friendly. Food & drink was served within 15 minutes. Music was a bit loud & music videos played on the TVs could be a bit suggestive for family guests. Good variety of sauces for chicken wings. I'd go back again.
Belle ambiance, le service était super & rapide, la présentation du repas était très bien, par contre les saveurs sont à travailler. Pour les sauces miel & moutarde, elles goûtaient le lendemain de veille. Le général tao était moyen, il goûtait un peu trop le gingembre. La mayo épicée, c'était plus une trempette ketchups & mayo. Le poulet était bon mais à la limite du presque pas assez cuit. Les frites étaient froides & molles, la salade César n'avait pas de sauce & les feuilles de salade étaient de la frisée avec un goût très amer. La salade de choux était correcte mais un peu trop de vinaigre.

Nachos dry with pico de gallo & no salsa. Jalapenos not spicy at all. If u dont like guacamole too bad!! Added on top as is the sour cream with a squirt bottle. Needs sauce!
Took a bone marrow poutine & it was extremely salty as bone marrow adds taste & fries salted. Cldnt eat it as u have a mouth full of salt. Service is friendly & with a smile. Manager didnt seem too concerned & dismissed my comments non apologetic. Taking nachos home to add salsa & cheese & put them in oven. Terrace well situated since sun is behind building & you are not sweating. Overall have had better experiences!!
My first time there as it was early afternoon & Jack Flat wasn't open yet. I have to give a thumbs up for the ambiance & the great service. Shaunika was my waitress & I must admit she is in my eyes stunning 🙌🏻 from her physical wonderland, her eyes…. But pretty sure, when she smiled my heart skipped a beat 😂.
She was very professional & friendly. The gentleman at the door as well as the service was the highlight of this experience. I had the steak spice wings & some other & they were perfectly crispy! Where I give a 3 is that some were hard on the bone & there was some sort of after taste similar to both flavours that I didn't really appreciate. The home made sauce was delicious.
All & all I will definitely go back for a bite to eat as the ambiance, the music, the service & Shaunika's smile simply brightened my day.
From the moment we walked into Birdhouse, we felt welcomed. The hostess greeted us with genuine warmth, asked if we were celebrating anything (my birthday! 🎉), & set the tone for the evening. The vibe was perfect: Alanis Morissette was playing when we arrived, & honestly, say no more.
Our waitress was outstanding. She was so helpful in guiding us through the menu & making our toddler feel completely at ease (he spent the rest of the evening trying his best to impress her).
The food was excellent. We started with melon mocktails - refreshing & not overly sweet. The pretzel with dill dip was a clear winner, & the hot n' honey edamame beans were addictive in the best way. The wings shine because of the sauces; I had the cherry cola flavor, which truly tasted like cherry cola but in a balanced, savory-sweet way. The cauliflower tacos were another highlight - the flash-fried cauliflower was airy & crisp, & the toppings had just the right sweet & spicy balance.
The portions are generous (our waitress warned us!), but we wanted to try as much as possible. The evening was capped off with a surprise praline cake for my birthday (such a thoughtful touch!)
Birdhouse exceeded my expectations with its atmosphere, food, & service. A big thank-you & shout-out to our amazing waitress. She made the night even more memorable. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Excellent restaurant avec un très grand choix de plats à base de poulet.
J'ai décidé de prendre la poutine à la sauce moelle osseuse en y ajoutant du poulet croustillant (recommandation du serveur) : tout simplement sublime !
Le service par le serveur Axel était impeccable, très gentil & disponible.
J'y suis aller pour prendre à emporter, l'accueille était très courtois & respectueux. Au moment de partir, je vérifie ma commande & ils manquaient quelques produits. Heureusement le jeune homme est venue pour me donner les l'articles manquant. Par contre, la prochaine n'oublier pas les ustensile/serviettes dans le sac s'il vous plaît. Sinon, le poulet était très savoureux, la sauce fromage bleu était succulente & les portions étaient correct.
My friends & I were able to enjoy the patio season over the weekend here. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I am really glad that they have vegan options. I ordered the'cluck-free crunch tenders' tossed in the cherry cola BBQ sauce. The sauce is on the sweeter side. I substituted the home fries with the tater tots. It also came with a home slaw. Everything tasted great. We shared the rosé sangria; it was refreshing. The staff members were very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu.
The wings are amazing. Still crispy even with a good amount of sauce. From sweet to spicy, they are all great. Ambiance is excellent as much as the service. Athena you were awesome. Thank you 😌
Our supper at this restaurant was a phenomenal experience. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about our waiters (Olivier & Amélie). They were kind & very knowledgeable about the menu. We never felt rushed at all. Their chicken wing sauces are absolutely delicious. It was a true delight to taste so many different flavours. Also, their cocktail menu did not disapoint. Their sangria royale was excellent. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
