About us
With a fresh new concept this city has never seen, we’re thrilled to introduce Birdhouse: the very first wingerie & bar.
Located in the heart of the West Island, Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar combines homemade gourmet wing sauces with homemade traditional sauces and rubs to give the wing connoisseur mind-blowing flavours.
Of course we added our flavour twist on fried-chicken and are serving up a variety of other high-end comfort foods to become the hottest one-stop wing joint to hatch in this city! From wet & saucy wings to delicious smash burgers, BWB is the ultimate chicken-lover's paradise.

via LibroThe flashing video was really disturbing - even our younger daughter found it very distracting. Would prefer rock or soul or southern music (Cajun) for sure at a slightly lower volume. Can be background - not that you have to speak so loudly to be heard. Glad we could move to the covered terrasse - perfect! Food & service were excellent. Will only come back, though, if we can sit away from the big screen. Thanks for accommodating us!! Susie

The music, ambiance & service was excellent. But the food was really tasteless (took the chopchop salad with tofu & tatertots). It Was really boring. Nachos were good but didnt come with salsa, guac or sour cream. My cherry drink just tasted like straight alcohol.
We were disappointed because we liked the ambiance a lot & couldve easily made this our regular place for our girls dinners.

via LibroWow! I very seldomly leave reviews but felt the need to review Birdhouse. I pass by this place almost everyday & have heard great things about it. Sometimes as the old saying goes, why fix what's not broken, we tend to stick to our regular spots as we know what to expect & don't walk away disappointed & feeling cheated out of spending money & not enjoying our dinner like has happened on many occasions from other restos. Last Saturday, I decided, to surprise my wife & take her here for dinner after she finished work as she had been mentioning she would like to go for some time. Let me say, we were not disappointed in the slightest. In fact, we can't wait to come back. We tried the maple heat wings which were sweet as you'd expect when ordering something that has maple syrup. I personally didn't taste much spice but spice hits different people different ways & I'm used to spicy where as my wife isn't. I will however be ordering the Dr. Evil wings next time, for myself. My wife ordered the fish tacos & myself the Buffalo Mac N Cheese & both dishes were AMAZING. My son wasn't with us on this occasion but I made sure to let him know how good the Mac n cheese was & he can't wait to try it. The drinks were good also. All in all, a great spot to eat & will definitely be amongst the regular diners we frequent. From top to bottom, we were extremely happy with the experience & can't wait to come back for more

The food was very good. At our table, we ordered wings, 2x 3 piece chicken dinners as well as the Buffalo chicken tacos & a side of sweet potato fries. The portions were very well sized for the value.
This was our first time there. The chicken was appropriately crispy & not oily.
I think the next time we will agree on a few items & share them with the table.
We sat on the right-hand side of the restaurant & there was a gigantic TV, the size of the wall as much as it was impressive, it was very distracting & the lighting from the TV images was strange as we were almost sitting under it. If you are there to watch a game & eat, perfect! But if you are going with friends or family & not interested in the game, slightly annoying.
Overall, we liked the place & would go back!
via LibroTried their poutine with bone marrow & it was not that great IMO. The bone marrow was completely dried & there was no marrow. Basically got a bone on top for decoration. Fries was dried & it seems to be all the tips & little bits. I don't plan to go back.

via LibroI made a reservation for 6:30 & arrived exactly on time. I was immediately told we could only sit at the bar. The restaurant was at 40% capacity at most. When I expressed that I would rather a table I was told I can have "this middle table" or sit outside. We chose to sit outside despite my husband wanting to watch the game. The waitress was friendly & attentive however, this is my second time at this restaurant & the first time the food was delectable. We took the same thing as last time & we we're very disappointed. The burger was undercooked & lukewarm the poutine was extremely salty. Unfortunately we will not be returning as it is a long drive & we came for the good food, this time was just overall disappointing.
