About us
With a fresh new concept this city has never seen, we’re thrilled to introduce Birdhouse: the very first wingerie & bar.
Located in the heart of the West Island, Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar combines homemade gourmet wing sauces with homemade traditional sauces and rubs to give the wing connoisseur mind-blowing flavours.
Of course we added our flavour twist on fried-chicken and are serving up a variety of other high-end comfort foods to become the hottest one-stop wing joint to hatch in this city! From wet & saucy wings to delicious smash burgers, BWB is the ultimate chicken-lover's paradise.

Casual restaurant first visit . Overall great experience. We ordered 1 pound of wings honey/Garlic . Maybe 1 pound but portion seemed a bit small for the price , taste was good . Kale salad , bone marrow poutine & ice cream cookies were all delicious . Our server Charlotte was fantastic . Stamps on drift beer is really cute & a great idea .View more

We came to Birdhouse Wings as a family of 10, & it was the perfect place to reconnect, laugh, & enjoy a fun night out!
Our server, Juliana, was amazing! She walked us through the menu + shared her personal favourites, which we ended up ordering-& they were absolutely fantastic. Every single wing we tried had us looking at each other & saying WOW.

It was all way too oily & over-fried! The wings were good. The cauliflower wings overly oily. It's fun you can choose a sauce for cauliflower but it just comes on the side they are not coated with the sauce. Nice vegetarian options but again - other than the salad everything was fried but not in a tasty way. It was a fun night but I wouldn't go for the food.View more

Have been wanting to go here for the longest time!!
I got the classic poutine, the fried onion strings & a secret flavour of the chicken wings, which I believe resembled the name of'vampire slayer', which was essentially a lemon pepper flavour & you just need to ask the waitress for that flavour, since it is not on the menu!
The poutine portion was very big & I had concluded that I ordered too much food but I brought majority of it back home!!
My friend got the buffalo mac n cheese but got a different flavour of chicken & got it in the side. She said the mac n cheese was too cheesy, but the chicken was very good.

This is a perfect location for a great evening in best atmosphere. Our waiter Oliver was outstanding right from the beginning. A very hearty person. He suggested the best wings we ever had. We also took Mozarella Sticks & Tacos from the menu. All of it was delicious & very interesting in taste.
The manager Chris visited our table & we had a really good time talking in german to him. It was an allover great experience for us! Don't miss the chance!View more

Kind of confused by all the 5 star reviews. I had the boneless wings, I found the chicken hard, flavorless (like boiled chicken) & rubbery. The batter didn't have a nice flavor either, just of old oil & it felt like the dough wasn't fresh.. crispy is normal but this was hard, almost chewy - not enjoyable to eat. The fries tasted overcooked with an old oil flavor.. 😕 disappointed. Maybe the 5 stars I see everywhere is about the staff because they seemed nice🤷
Response to owner: unfortunately I wasn't able to let a server know that it wasn't enjoyable since this was takeout. Had I been there, I'm not really sure what they could have done. It would have taken a while to do another batch of batter & season it.. it just wasn't good for the reasons I mentioned originallyView more

We went on a Friday night for an impromptu dinner with our kids.. We had no reservations but the staff was nice enough to accommodate us.. Service by Luca was quick & friendly.. Food was excellent.. Smash burger & gorgonzola burger were delicious, as well as the bbq Mac & cheese.. Boneless wings were tasty.. Prices are reasonable & portions are big.. Highly recommendedView more

The food has always been very good, especially the Cauliflower Bites, the Fish Tacos 🌮, wings, & Chicken Dinner, although on our last visit, the Crispy Chicken had run out by 7pm. My husband, therefore, had to have a second choice (Gorgonzola Burger,) which was dry, & he said quite tasteless. A shame. The fries are generally too dark for me (can seem overcooked). Prices are good, & the sauces are delicious. Their salads are great, not overpriced, & are more than just leaves. The staff are lovely too. Conversation is difficult if there is a lot of you, when the music is too loud.View more

Service at a restaurant is as important as the quality of the food itself. Birdhouse service did not disappoint. They were extremely friendly & accommodating especially in regards to my son who's in a wheelchair. The food was really good but the standout was the wings obviously. I can't wait to try different sauces next time. My only'complaint' is that there are no handicap parking spots ( unless I really didn't see it )…which isn't a huge issue since there is ample parking & nothing is too far from the entrance but it's definitely worth considering.View more

My wife & I went here for the Habs game. Although this isn't technically a'sports bar', the atmosphere was AMAZING. Great music, great times.
I think besides the amazing chicken, the thing that stood out the most was the service. Everyone there was friendly, helpful & FUN. Nobody had a crappy attitude, everyone loved what they were doing. You could tell this was top-down because the owner was there, & he was fun, playful, but still extremely professional.

The food was all very good. We had nachos with chicken, marrow gravy poutine, wings, each of the chicken sandwiches, mac & cheese with buffalo chicken, cauliflower bites & some veggie bites.
Our server was excellent, I haven't had service this well in a very long time & it was refreshing. I've felt for years that food service has been in a gradual decline but was pleasantly surprised in this case. Definitely deserving of a trip if you're in the mood for pub fare.View more

Had Birdhouse on my list for some time now & I knew when I was going to be in the west I'd stop by. Julianna took good care of us!! The service was amazing as were the drinks. Wings were flavourful & cooked perfectly. I believe the smash burger was our favourite tho…. Y'all make a mean burger!!!

Great atmosphere, service was fantastic. Food just ok. Had fish & tater tots . Fish was super greasy, thin over cooked filets. Tummy was uncomfortable for the rest of the night.

Good music, very cool decoration & design inside, amazing server & host, & the food was phenomenal. Likely the best wings I have had.
The salad was unexpectedly crunchy, they put cooked baby spinach in their Caesar salad which was new to me. Great flavor but I personally did not like the texture.View more
