About us
With a fresh new concept this city has never seen, we’re thrilled to introduce Birdhouse: the very first wingerie & bar.
Located in the heart of the West Island, Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar combines homemade gourmet wing sauces with homemade traditional sauces and rubs to give the wing connoisseur mind-blowing flavours.
Of course we added our flavour twist on fried-chicken and are serving up a variety of other high-end comfort foods to become the hottest one-stop wing joint to hatch in this city! From wet & saucy wings to delicious smash burgers, BWB is the ultimate chicken-lover's paradise.

It was all way too oily & over-fried! The wings were good. The cauliflower wings overly oily. It's fun you can choose a sauce for cauliflower but it just comes on the side they are not coated with the sauce. Nice vegetarian options but again - other than the salad everything was fried but not in a tasty way. It was a fun night but I wouldn't go for the food.View more

The food has always been very good, especially the Cauliflower Bites, the Fish Tacos 🌮, wings, & Chicken Dinner, although on our last visit, the Crispy Chicken had run out by 7pm. My husband, therefore, had to have a second choice (Gorgonzola Burger,) which was dry, & he said quite tasteless. A shame. The fries are generally too dark for me (can seem overcooked). Prices are good, & the sauces are delicious. Their salads are great, not overpriced, & are more than just leaves. The staff are lovely too. Conversation is difficult if there is a lot of you, when the music is too loud.View more

Service at a restaurant is as important as the quality of the food itself. Birdhouse service did not disappoint. They were extremely friendly & accommodating especially in regards to my son who's in a wheelchair. The food was really good but the standout was the wings obviously. I can't wait to try different sauces next time. My only'complaint' is that there are no handicap parking spots ( unless I really didn't see it )…which isn't a huge issue since there is ample parking & nothing is too far from the entrance but it's definitely worth considering.View more

Great experience at birdhouse! I'm not a huge wings fan, but I really enjoyed these! We tried the Cacio & Pepe, the Cherry Cola & the honey garlic wings - all were very tasty. Lots of meat on the wings & not a lot of fat which I appreciate. Mac & cheese was one of the best I've had in Montreal. My only critique is I wish they gave a dipping sauce for the dry wings - currently it's $3 a dip. Other that that, great vibes, wonderful service- would highly recommend!View more

Food was good, but nothing stood out to us. Wings are super pricey considering their size & they charge an extra 3$ for ranch sauce, which usually would come with your wings? Was 35$ for 12 wings (no sides). Cocktails were also just OK. Atmosphere was nice but we wouldn't return.View more

Friendly, professional service by server . All other staff were excellent as well!! Cocktail menu is elaborate & the ones we ordered were excellent! Caico e pepe wings were outstanding!! The chicken always hits the spot. Gloriously fried & juicy it satisfies the craving on first bite. Great diverse selection of sauces & rubs helps keep it new each time & satisfies the whole family. We're visiting tourists & came to this restaurant on a whim because the chain restaurant that we wanted to go to was closed. This restaurant ended up being so much better anyways & we're glad we came. It's got an atmosphere of a restaurant & a bar combined. It was the perfect place to eat some food & have some drinks on a late night. Service was amazing - Charlotte is one of the best servers we've ever had. She was attentive & funny. Food was delicious too! We recommend their legendary wing sauce & the Nutella cheesecake.View more

We went on Saturday night for our 4-year anniversary & had the best time ever. First of all, we walked in to a super bubbly hostess, which was already a great start to the evening. We got seated, & shortly after, the waitress came to take our drink orders. One of the managers, Angelika, who was walking around, came by to greet us & made sure to suggest a few things on the menu, as it was my partner's first time at Birdhouse. I briefly mentioned that it was our anniversary night, & we were super excited to be here at Birdhouse. We got our drinks, which were both refreshing & beautiful to look at. Time flew by as we enjoyed some 90's hits, & before we knew it, our nachos & crispy tofu bites arrived. The portions were huge, the presentation was on point, & everything was so tasty. At no point were we rushed, & we even had time to digest our appetizers before our main dishes arrived. Being at a wingery, it would have been a crime not to order some wings, especially with the number of sauce options available. Honey garlic has always been my go-to, & I have to say, I was not disappointed with that yummy garlic taste. (I WANT MOREEEE). My partner had the cauliflower wings with the hot & honey IPA sauce, & they were fantastic too. I'm not a fan of beer, & thankfully it didn't taste like beer, so we were both pleased. At this point, I thought the evening couldn't get any better, but it did. We asked Kalia for some extra sauce, because there is no such thing as too much sauce, let's be honest. She cracked a joke & left, & we were both laughing our butts off. After our meal, we ended up moving outside to the terrace to enjoy some more drinks & digest the enormous amount of food we had just eaten. Chris, the general manager, came by to chat & see how our experience was so far. I'm sure he wasn't surprised when we both said it was beyond our expectations. We spoke a bit about the new Birdhouse opening in Centropolis, & shortly after, he left. A few minutes later, Kalia, our amazing waitress, came with two ice cream cookies & a candle to celebrate our anniversary. We were both in awe of that gesture & did not expect this to happen. That was the cherry on top of our evening. We left around closing time, each with a huge smile on our face, grateful for such a wonderful evening. YOU NEED TO GO THERE, IT IS A MUST! :)View more

This place has by far the best chicken wings in Montreal, & the best buffalo sauce in the game! I couldn't believe a buffalo sauce could be THAT GOOD! Unfortunately I cannot say the same with the cheeseburger, it's bland. PS you get a funny printing when you order a drought beer.View more

They also have healthy alternatives which are just as tasty. They has tons of sauce options which allows you to try a variety of different flavours. The drink menu is 10/10. This was our second time eating here, it did not disappoint. Service is friendly & efficient, our waitress was very sweet. We tried the rosé sangria this time, very refreshing, definitely a great summertime option. The buttermilk chicken is so tasty, crispy on the outside & so tender on the inside & loved the hot n' honey sauce! Amazing experience! The staff & service was extremely welcoming, always coming to our table to ensure we had everything we needed. Leurs sauces maison sont plus que délicieuses. Vous devez essayer la sauce Buffalo original ! Elle est tellement bonne que nous avons acheté 3 bouteilles pour apportez. We've been coming here pretty much since it opened. It never disappoints. Food & ambience are terrific but what really stands out for us are the incredibly attentive & engaging staff.
