About us
With a fresh new concept this city has never seen, we’re thrilled to introduce Birdhouse: the very first wingerie & bar.
Located in the heart of the West Island, Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar combines homemade gourmet wing sauces with homemade traditional sauces and rubs to give the wing connoisseur mind-blowing flavours.
Of course we added our flavour twist on fried-chicken and are serving up a variety of other high-end comfort foods to become the hottest one-stop wing joint to hatch in this city! From wet & saucy wings to delicious smash burgers, BWB is the ultimate chicken-lover's paradise.

Last night, I ventured into the culinary wonderland that is the Birdhouse Restaurant in D.D.O. for a double date, a brave expedition in the name of romance & food. Spoiler alert: the service was top-notch, the food was good, but my wallet is still weeping. As we walked in, the atmosphere was as cozy as a bird's nest-if that nest was filled with Pinterest-worthy decor & a subtle hint of honey garlic. Our server fluttered over with the enthusiasm of a friendly sparrow, & let me tell you, this person could charm the feathers off a chicken. Seriously, I was ready to leave a glowing review after just the service alone. If only they could've taken my leftovers with them! Now, onto the food: the dishes were delicious, each bite singing a melody of flavors that could make even a picky eater swoon. However, it felt like the prices were auditioning for a role in "The Great British Bake Off: Pricey Edition." I mean, I'm all for gourmet experiences, but I was half-expecting a side of my own personal chef to come with my entrée at those prices! But here's where the comedy of errors took a turn: in the haze of delightful conversation & copious laughter, I walked out without my beloved leftovers. Yes, the precious remains of my overpriced dinner were left behind, sitting on the table like a forgotten trophy of my culinary conquests. I can't tell you how furious I was! After spending an amount that could've funded a small vacation, the thought of my uneaten food being tossed out felt like a betrayal worthy of a soap opera. "Noooo! My buffalo wings! How could you abandon me?" To sum it all up: if you're looking for a charming evening with great service & delectable food (that comes at a price), Birdhouse is the place to be. Just make sure to keep a close eye on your leftovers-otherwise, they may become a casualty of your delightful evening. Would I return? Absolutely! But next time, I'll be packing a doggy bag... or maybe just a full-on lunchbox. 🍽️View more

We love this restaurant. It's local. It's got a great vibe. The food is really good. The staff is super nice & I've never had anything that I did not like. We came with friends from out of town, Sunday night & we were all really happy. I love the fish tacos & the Poke Bowl. One person had the fried chicken & loved it, my husband had the boneless wings said they were delicious & the other person had fish & chips. Chips same thing delish. & very important of course, great fries!!View more

We're visiting tourists & came to this restaurant on a whim because the chain restaurant that we wanted to go to was closed. This restaurant ended up being so much better anyways & we're glad we came. It's got an atmosphere of a restaurant & a bar combined. It was the perfect place to eat some food & have some drinks on a late night. Service was amazing - Charlotte is one of the best servers we've ever had. She was attentive & funny. Food was delicious too! We recommend their legendary wing sauce & the Nutella cheesecake.View more

One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal! There are a lot of places you can get good wings, but not thus good. & the options are amazing. Music videos & ambiance are incredible & keep us coming back. Price is a bit high but if you are looking for a trendy, popular restaurant with amazing food & drinks it's very much worth it ! 5 stars in my view.View more

Food was just okay. Nachos are missing some key elements to take it from good to outstanding. Wings were nice & meaty but flavors were lacking a little. Service was top notch. We went on Saturday night for our 4-year anniversary & had the best time ever. First of all, we walked in to a super bubbly hostess, which was already a great start to the evening. We got seated, & shortly after, the waitress came to take our drink orders. One of the managers, Angelika, who was walking around, came by to greet us & made sure to suggest a few things on the menu, as it was my partner's first time at Birdhouse. I briefly mentioned that it was our anniversary night, & we were super excited to be here at Birdhouse. We got our drinks, which were both refreshing & beautiful to look at. Time flew by as we enjoyed some 90's hits, & before we knew it, our nachos & crispy tofu bites arrived. The portions were huge, the presentation was on point, & everything was so tasty. At no point were we rushed, & we even had time to digest our appetizers before our main dishes arrived. Being at a wingery, it would have been a crime not to order some wings, especially with the number of sauce options available. Honey garlic has always been my go-to, & I have to say, I was not disappointed with that yummy garlic taste. (I WANT MOREEEE). My partner had the cauliflower wings with the hot & honey IPA sauce, & they were fantastic too. I'm not a fan of beer, & thankfully it didn't taste like beer, so we were both pleased. At this point, I thought the evening couldn't get any better, but it did. We asked Kalia for some extra sauce, because there is no such thing as too much sauce, let's be honest. She cracked a joke & left, & we were both laughing our butts off. After our meal, we ended up moving outside to the terrace to enjoy some more drinks & digest the enormous amount of food we had just eaten. Chris, the general manager, came by to chat & see how our experience was so far. I'm sure he wasn't surprised when we both said it was beyond our expectations. We spoke a bit about the new Birdhouse opening in Centropolis, & shortly after, he left. A few minutes later, Kalia, our amazing waitress, came with two ice cream cookies & a candle to celebrate our anniversary. We were both in awe of that gesture & did not expect this to happen. That was the cherry on top of our evening. We left around closing time, each with a huge smile on our face, grateful for such a wonderful evening. YOU NEED TO GO THERE, IT IS A MUST! :)View more

Wow, it was our first experience at Birdhouse & certainly not the last! To start off our waiter Devin was great, took the time to make some recommendations & provided an amazing service throughout! & the chicken wings, oh man, big & super flavorful!.. This place has by far the best chicken wings in Montreal, & the best buffalo sauce in the game! I couldn't believe a buffalo sauce could be THAT GOOD! Unfortunately I cannot say the same with the cheeseburger, it's bland. PS you get a funny printing when you order a drought beer.View more

Loved my night at birdhouse!! Hadn't been there since the opening & was pleasantly surprised! I chose this place because my friend is vegan & I heard the vegan cauliflower wings were delicious. I left a note when I made a reservation & I was shocked when the hostess handed us a special menu for food intolerances. My friend was so happy to have a menu that told her exactly what was vegan! The wings were great! Such a great price for what you're getting. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night. I loved the atmosphere! The music choice was also amazing. I was in Montreal all week for work & visited all of the places I was supposed to: Old Montreal, downtown, the port area. This was hands down my favorite place of the whole trip. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted by the hostess & immediately noticed the ice-cold air, which was much appreciated due to the hot weather. I sat at the bar & was served by Juliana & Kalia, who were both so friendly & attentive. I felt at home, since Florida has no shortage of restaurants featuring wings, chicken, & other fare, but the vibe here was awesome. It was full of energy, packed on a weeknight, & was a very visually appealing place. I asked for suggestions on dinner, which I know servers usually hate, but Kalia steered me toward their chicken sandwich, which was delicious. One of the regulars pointed out the owner, George, & even though he was busy cleaning & setting up tables himself, I had to stop him & let him know how wonderful a job he has done with Birdhouse. Honestly, this was the highlight of my trip, & I look forward to coming back on my next business trip. (Thank you for my parting gift! ;)View more

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday. She loves wings, & she was over the moon from the first bite, declaring them the best she's ever had. The staff were incredibly polite & professional, with unmatched attention to detail. Without us asking, one of the gentlemen came over to fix our slightly wobbly table. The manager personally took our orders & served us because the servers were busy. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, well-lit, with a nice patio & ample parking. & the best part? Two beers, two meals, & an appetizer all for under $50 in 2024. Unbelievable. All around, an amazing place.View more
