Amazing food. When there for lunch with colleagues, we shared the tasting menu, it was worth it. They made a special since I’m vegetarian & switch some meat plates for more seafood/vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend.
Une première fois pour moi & ma conjointe & très belle découverte. Belle terasse, service super & la nourriture vraiment délicieuse. Bière au Yuzu vraiment bonne.

Beautiful spot with a fun atmosphere & tasty food! The outdoor patio space was bright & well-decorated. Our food & drinks came out fast, faster than expected & the service was great! Our server suggested we order 4-6 dishes for 2 people & we were super full with 4. We really enjoyed the karaage & okonomiyaki, the corn korroke was unique & flavourful! The drinks were refreshing & I don’t have much experience with sake but I thought it was smooth & nice. We had a great dinner here!!

Sûrement l'un des meilleurs restaurant japonais selon moi.
La carte est petite mais justement c'est signe que les plats sont de qualités. & vraiment c'est un régal à chaque fois, coup de coeur pour les teryaki boeuf & cheese, teryaki mochi bacon. Vraiment tout est bon!!
La nourriture est correcte mais rien d'excellent. Le karaage n'a pas ou peu été mariné & la friture pourrait être de meilleure qualité. Les croquettes sont presque liquide alors qu'au japon elles ont une bien meilleure consistance. Les gyozas sont moyennes, & peu raffinées. Nous ne reviendrons pas, les prix voulant nous faire croire qu'on a à faire à une meilleure cuisine. Bonne chance!

Sooooo overrated!!! The food is just ok but the prices are way to high for what you get! The octopus balls don't have much octopus in them & while they taste ok, they taste exactly the same as at other "japanese" places in Montreal. If they want people to come taste them at biiru they better differentiate a bit... the okonomiaky is missing about 50% of the ingredients that you get in japan... & the short ribs are just sweet & spicy, no complexity what so ever... everything is well cooked & server warm & everything but it is just missing something... & that brings me to the service... why do waiters at above the average priced restaurants feel complied to ignore customers? Is snobbism a dish on the menu? Took them forever to come & take the order & then they act like you bothered them... bottom line: tourist trap.

I was greatly disappointed with the poor service. We made a reservation 2h prior showing up & during that phone call the lady never mentioned the limited 1h time frame to order, eat & pay for our dinner. There was no mention of the 1h limit on the website, booking site or Facebook. Yet, we were offered our bill after not even 40 minutes, we hadn't even finished our drinks... We were sitting at the bar & the bartender was in a "hurry". I even asked the bartender if the reason he was insisting on giving us the bill was that there was people waiting & he answered bluntly : Yes. We always have people waiting for your seats.
When I addressed the issue to the manager, he didn't even bother to check out reservation or ask or waiter. He simply answered that it was the house rule. 1h for every reservation & that it's mentioned everywhere. Yet, I went back & searched on Facebook & website. No mentions of it at all. I would understand if it was lunchtime but unfortunately it's not the case. We dropped a great amount of money & yet we were shown the door after 40 min. It's unacceptable. Having known, we would've gone elsewhere for sure. The food ain't even that good & not worth the poor service.
It's too bad because we had all gone there before & we're greatly happy hence why we came back tonight.
