The chef is pleased to offer traditional and refined dishes; you will enjoy the tender and juicy pork chops, marinated in a caramelized sauce. They just melt in your mouth! The tempura vegetables, cooked to perfection, are irresistible. In short, the menu leaves you speechless as its specialties are one better than the other. Service exceptionnel!!! Les membres de personnel sont tous accueillants, souriants, chaleureux. Mention particulière à notre serveuse Alexia. Tout était excellent: les cocktails, les plats à partager, le décor, la terrasse. Nous reviendrons c'est certain!
Leur menu dégustation nous offre le meilleur de leur cuisine, c'est copieux, savoureux & servi avec beaucoup de gentillesse & d'attention. Restaurant animé sans être bruyant & fort bien décoré.
Nous avons pris le menu découverte. Les assiettes sont arrivées trop vite l'une apres l'autre, sans nous donner même pas 5 minutes pour goûter tranquillement chaque assiette (en 30 minutes, tout était terminé). En plus elles n'étaient pas chaudes, chaque bouchée était tiède, presque froid. Nous avons demandé de l'eau, la bouteille est arrivée seulement avec l'addition. Finalement, ils nous ont demandé de quitter notre table plus tôt que prévu car les personnes qui avaient réservé pour le prochain horaire étaient arrivées 30 minutes plus tôt (nous avions aussi réservé). C'est vraiment dommage, car généralement j'aime aller à ce resto, le service était toujours bon, c'est pourquoi j'ai amené des amis, pour qu'ils découvrent cette place. Ils ont été très déçu du choix de resto. Moi aussi.
Nous étions un groupe de 7 un mardi soir. Le format des plats, les saveurs & l'excellent service nous ont conquis. Le resto était bien remplis mais on pouvait tenir des conversations sans crier. J'ai aimé & je recommande.
Will & everyone on staff were incredible hosts! The tasting menu was delicious, plentiful & they accommodated my sisters gluten intolerance with ease. The cocktails Will suggested to pair with our tasting menu were perfect with the food the chef was preparing. You're in good hands at Biiru, thank you for a fantastic birthday celebration!! Xxoo

This place is amazing, we absolutely love this place. Alex, Will, Juliana & Ivey are so kind, treat use with respect & are overall fun. They bring so much to the experience & the food. OMG its so flavorful & making you want more. We appreciate you!
Lucky to snag a 3-top on a Saturday night without a reservation. Will recommended the set menu for $45pp, & it was a hit! Great selection & generous portions. The Onsen was delightful as cocktail or mocktail, adding brightness to balance the strong entree flavors. Matcha cake also rich & full of flavor, worth a try.
I went to Biiru during my trip to Montreal because my friend suggested the place. She's been there a couple of times before & liked the food so she wanted me to try it to while we're in town. It was a Thursday night & we tried to get a last minute reservation online but there's no table available for 7:30 pm on the system. But we did get lucky with walk-in though because they actually have a table available for us at the outdoor area.
We decided to order a bunch of dishes to share between the two of us & here are some of my favorites from our meal:
🍵 Matcha Matcha • 8/10
I ordered the Matcha Matcha mocktail. Nice matcha, not too strong, not too bitter, not too sweet. It has a nice earthy taste.
🍽? Korn Korokke • 7.5/10
The croquettes were nicely fried & the curry wasn't too strong.
🥟 Pork Gyoza • 8/10
Great pork gyoza. The gyoza skin wasn't too thick & the pork was flavorful.
🍽? Kaisen Don • 8/10
The Kaisen Don was pretty good. It tasted fresh & & light.
All & all, although I liked some of the dishes better than the others, the food overall was pretty good for a modern Japanese fusion izakaya spot. Service was great & the staff who waited our table was nice. The noise level at this place was pretty high since it is a drinking place.

What an amazing restaurant! We ordered 6 dishes & every single one was excellent. Truly recommend! A special thanks to the manager who got us a last-minute table & was so kind.
