Lucky to snag a 3-top on a Saturday night without a reservation. Will recommended the set menu for $45pp, & it was a hit! Great selection & generous portions. The Onsen was delightful as cocktail or mocktail, adding brightness to balance the strong entree flavors. Matcha cake also rich & full of flavor, worth a try.

Tried this place for the first time last night, & already can't wait to go back! The tasting menu is incredible value for your money, every dish was delicious (special shout out for the ribs, & the candied salmon!), & the cocktails were creative & fresh.
Had a very pleasant meal here with my friend. We went for the tasting menu as well as two cocktails. Service was solid, our main server was friendly & attentive. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount & quality of food as the tasting menu was only $45 pp. My one complaint was that it was VERY protein-heavy with barely any veggies. I think the only vegetables were inside the gyoza & the carrots & mushrooms that were part of the beef tataki (which was delicious). It would've been nice to include the gai lan or even a salad in the menu.
Superbe expérience. Tout près de la Place des arts, donc un très bon choix avant un spectacle. Le service était impeccable & le menu dégustation pour deux personnes était très généreux & délicieux. Les cocktails étaient aussi excellents. Je le recommande!
Très bon Izakaya, je recommande le menu dégustation à 45$ par personne pour 3 ou4 personnes, ça permet de faire un bon tour du menu, on a pu tester 12 items du menu :)
Mes plats préférés : saumon bonbon, beef tataki, okonomiyaki (plus plat & plus épicé que ceux du Japon), haru karaage, Unagi yakitori
J'ai bien aimé aussi : takoyaki, gyoza, pokuribu
Pas très fan : tarutaru, gyudon, gomae, dessert godzilla, ramen sarada
Cocktail : pas trop aimé
Hotei très bon, un peu sucré
Totoro : trop acide à mon goût
We had an incredible time at Birru, & it was all thanks to our amazing server, Jessica! She was so attentive, friendly, & truly made the experience special. The drinks were great, but her energy & kindness made the night unforgettable. If you go, ask for Jessica-she's the best!

Très bon restaurant la formule découverte a partager à 2 est parfaite pour découvrir. Le cocktail totoro excellent & l'ambiance est chaleureuse & conviviale. On oublie un peu qu'on est à Montréal.

Visited on a Friday night & was served by the incredible Jessica. Jessica paid great attention to details & went above & beyond to ensure that we got everything we needed. Even though the kitchen was a little backed up (which we didn't even notice or mind at all) Jessica communicated with us highly professionally & offered alternative solutions to make sure we weren't feeling left behind. Jessica surprised us with sake shots & a very delicious dessert at the end of the night, all making the dining experience at Biiru extra memorable & enjoyable. Wonderful menu with creative & delish Japanese fusion dishes & cocktails. The tapas style dishes allowed us to try many options. Highly recommend the Korn Korokke, a croquettes dish paired with delicious curry sauce, creating a great balance between texture & flavour. The atmosphere is comfortable & great for conversations. Love the interior design & decors.
Nous avons passé un bon moment sur la terrasse. Ils ont des bons cocktails. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation & c'était parfait. Ils ont servis le meilleur des plats sur le menu, on peut vraiment goûter à tout & c'est vraiment généreux, nous avons eu du mal à terminer les plats. Tout était très bon & frais !
La nourriture & les cocktails sont bons. Malheureusement, l'une des plus belles terrasses de la ville a été remplacée par une cabane en bois étouffante ambiance cabane à sucre. Quant au service, il faut faire un effort de coordination car les boissons sont arrivées entre le 3e & le 4e (& dernier) plats.
The onsen cocktail is my favorite! The beef & cheese yakitori & tuna tartare are excellent. Don't forget to finish off with the delicious warm brownie!

I had a fantastic experience! I went to Biiru from an impromptu date with my boyfriend & we had the best time. The food was fresh & delicious, the service was excellent (thanks to our waitress, Juliana) & the cocktails were to die for. I will definitely be coming back.
Food was delicious, the price is on point, allowing you to try enough of the menu to not feel like you missed out on anything. The food came quick, signature cocktails are delicious! Great place overall!
