food was delicious & the atmosphere is lovely! the service felt a tiny bit scattered when we visited; we were served by different waiters for the duration of our stay & I imagine it is difficult to stay in the loop with a system like that (we had to ask a few times for the bill), but aside from that it was a great experience! at one point a dish we requested be put in a takeout box was accidentally thrown, so the service gave us a dessert on the house :) will definitely return
I was in Montreal for a fun little business with the best internet company around ;) heehee... What a pleasant surprise & delight. Service was outstanding & the food, my oh my, don't get me started. everything was licked clean yummy yummm yummmm.
its been a decade since my last visit. Ordered the beef & salmon tartare. Salmon tartare had too much rice & a small portion of salmon for the price tag. The taste of the overall food is mehh.

Amazing place! Delicious authentic Japanese food. The Chinese brocoli with sesame paste was particularly tasty. Went there with my family to celebrate my dad's birthday & it was pouring outside. We wished to have a seat inside rather than on the covered terrace which was colder but they didn't have seats left. To apologize, the restaurant offered us sake & free dessert. The manager was super kind & attentive. She felt we were a bit disappointed & first & kept checking on us to see if she could make things more comfortable or enjoyable. Service was fast, & the lanterns & flame heater on the terrace were super cosy. Will go back!!
So good!! perfect environment for a date night or a friends night out. The food was authentic & all tasted amazing. We got to try all the cocktails & they were all so amazing
