A favourite amongst Montreal’s foodies, BEVO Bar + Pizzeria invites you for some fine Italian dining, original cocktails and a fresh ambiance. Seven days a week, chef Giovanni Vella cooks up traditional Italian flavours with a few signature twists. The restaurant’s specialty: authentic wood-fired pizza.
Two spacious floors, a fully stocked bar and convivial seating set the stage for an enjoyable meal every night in Old Montreal. Aperitivo Happy Hours come to life with special deals on drinks from 4 to 7 p.m., and our DJs bring a musical vibe to the place with freshly baked pizza until the end of the evening on Fridays and Saturdays.
During the summer, you can lounge on the terrace sitting right on Saint-Vincent Street – a pedestrian stretch bustling with friendly locals and artists.
The BEVO famiglia will be expecting you with a tasty Italian meal. Buon appetito!
Bevo Pizzeria stands out in Old Montreal for a warm, inviting atmosphere and wood fired, thin crust pizzas with fresh toppings, complemented by arancini, pastas and a creative drinks menu. Reviewers consistently praise fast, attentive service and genuine hospitality, with staff offering thoughtful recommendations and making guests feel welcome. The vibe is versatile, from cozy corners to lively spaces and a terrace, all crafted to enhance a relaxed Italian dining experience. Quality and value are frequently highlighted, with many noting flavorful dishes, generous portions, and well balanced sauces and toppings. While a few notes mention occasional timing during busy periods, the overall impression is a memorable, satisfying visit that keeps guests returning.
Seul Point positif serveuse bien souriante!

Food was very good but David our waiter was so amazing , friendly very attentive , honestly he made the experience even better..me & the family we will go back
We stopped by BEVO without a reservation & were seated after a short wait-about 15 minutes. We sat outdoors & the ambiance was lively.
We ordered the mushroom truffle risotto & the mushroom & chicken pizza. The risotto was good: rich, creamy. The pizza, however, was just okay. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't really stand out.
It's an interesting restaurant with a beautiful view.
There are plenty of tables set up by the street, allowing you to enjoy the distant views of the street right from your dining spot.
The scenery is breathtaking & untouched-truly a feast for the eyes.
The quality of the food was good, & the service was pleasant.
The dishes were delicious, freshly prepared, & made with high-quality, fresh ingredients.
The hospitality was warm & welcoming.
Overall, I recommend this place & hope you have a great experience there.
Bevo Bar + Pizzeria is exactly what you'd expect from a well-located Old Montreal spot: a tourist trap with a pretty patio, decent branding, & underwhelming execution. Let's start with the food-mediocre at best. The pizza was fine, but nothing memorable, & the pasta lacked depth or authenticity. If you're coming here expecting a real taste of Italian cuisine, prepare to be disappointed. This is a step up from Boston Pizza, sure, but authentic Italian? Not even close.
The atmosphere is loud, bordering on chaotic. It's not the lively'bustling trattoria' kind of vibe-it's just noisy, which makes conversation a challenge. Service was adequate, but certainly not exceptional. Our server was polite but rushed, & it felt like they were just trying to turn the table as fast as possible.
This place thrives on foot traffic & Instagrammable aesthetics, not on culinary merit. That said, if you're a tourist looking for a drink & a bite in a busy part of town, & you know exactly what you're walking into, you'll be fine. Just temper your expectations-this isn't a hidden gem or an authentic Italian eatery. It's a place to grab an overpriced pizza & say you went. Nothing more.

We were looking for a patio to enjoy a beautiful summer day in old Montreal while we are visiting for the weekend & we decided to try Bevo.
Service is really good, they are attentive & helpful though food did took a little longer than expected.
We had two pizzas & a salad as an appetizer & it was okay. Nothing bad to say but really nothing outstanding for me to rate this spot as 5 stars. Respectfully, I think it's pretty average! Not too bad or super good. Just average.
Although the food & service were pretty good, & the staff were very nice. I was discriminated against for having a service dog, & was denied a table inside. Just be aware if traveling with a service dog despite showing a Dr note you will only be allowed to eat outside.
Faith is amazing! She made our time at the restaurant unforgettable! What a pleasant service I loved her energy!! The food is amazing especially the Medaglioni Ricotta ufffff!!! So creammyyyyyy!!!
