Shared a pizza & a beer each after a day of exploring the streets of Montreal. Attentive service by Marianne. Quality authentic pizza. Would go back again. Sat outside. It was a great experience.

Good pasta, salad, & polpettes. Well prepared & with good portions. The service was also good. Overall, everything was ok & in line with the prices in the region.
We had the margarita pizza with prosciutto & it was SO good!!! I had an aperol spritz & my bf had the white sangria- also awesome. We dined outside & the service was fabulous. I wish this restaurant was somewhere near me in the States, the ingredients were fresh & just loved it.
We went there as Google told us it was a place people raved about the pizza. Neapolitan pizza was just ok, certainly not something I would write home about. But friendly place, bright, & good location in Old Town.
Dining places can fail with one dish, & that's okay because tasting is subjective, & one customer may not like a particular dish. But failing three dishes deserves at least a review to help the business improve.
The gnocchi: The texture was both lumpy & rubbery, with a very odd aftertaste, & the sauce was too acidic.
The risotto: The rice wasn't fully cooked; it felt raw in the center.
The Margherita pizza: My expectations of a pizza made in an artisan oven are that most of the crust would be well-cooked & only a few portions undercooked, as it's impossible to control perfect heat distribution. But in this case, it was the other way around. Many whitish portions made the diner constantly alternate between crunchy & chewy. But the worst part was that the sauce was the same as the gnocchi: acidic & lacking the right balance for each dish.
The waiter's attentiveness & the decor, on the other hand, were the only notable things about this place. I wish they could improve all those aspects & gain more positive reviews in the future.

Bevo was a big surprise during our trip in Montreal! We were supposed to go to another spot for dinner that had a bit of a strange menu & stopped by at Bevo instead. The pizza was very good & the calamari was also great. We had great service & were sat quickly regardless of not having a reservation. I highly recommend stopping by if you're visiting Montreal.
We loved our experience at Bevo! We were visiting Montreal for the weekend & came across Bevo when we were looking for a late dinner. It was beautiful inside & we had great service. My husband had the pizza which he really enjoyed. As someone who prefers to eat Vegan, GF, I was so happy to see their quinoa pasta with veg on the menu - & it was delicious! Thank you Bevo!
