About us

A favourite amongst Montreal’s foodies, BEVO Bar + Pizzeria invites you for some fine Italian dining, original cocktails and a fresh ambiance. Seven days a week, chef Giovanni Vella cooks up traditional Italian flavours with a few signature twists. The restaurant’s specialty: authentic wood-fired pizza.

Two spacious floors, a fully stocked bar and convivial seating set the stage for an enjoyable meal every night in Old Montreal. Aperitivo Happy Hours come to life with special deals on drinks from 4 to 7 p.m., and our DJs bring a musical vibe to the place with freshly baked pizza until the end of the evening on Fridays and Saturdays.

During the summer, you can lounge on the terrace sitting right on Saint-Vincent Street – a pedestrian stretch bustling with friendly locals and artists.

The BEVO famiglia will be expecting you with a tasty Italian meal. Buon appetito!

This was my second time visiting this place. We were served quickly & food was tasty & served within 15 minutes of sitting down. My partner ordered a cocktail & said it was delicious. We'll definitely be back. We also were lucky to be able to drop-in without a reservation.

Despite being busy & in the heart of old Montreal the food arrived quickly & hot! Service was great they have staff who speak English & French very well & are quick to serve you & friendly!

When traveling with two toddlers it's a fine line trying to find elevated food in a restaurant that doesn't scoff at bringing in kids. & what a difference great service makes! Our waiter elevated our experience. Food was well beyond expectations for a pizza place. Good Italian food. Loved the salad. & the spice mix that came with the pizza. But also approachable enough food for kids to enjoy (cheese pizza & fries, haha).

The service was great & staff was really proactive & helpful. They were very engaging & making sure everything is good. We tried vegetarian options, we find it little average but could be possible some other options would be good.

The atmosphere is nice, the service is good but the food is not that much! We were 2 adults & five children so we had to pay 300$ with one meal each & no drink! I find it expensive for this quality of food.

QUICK REVIEW: Delicious food, fabulous service, perfect for a date. PHOTOS: What we ordered, the wood-fired oven, the menu, the men's washroom, the bar DETAILED REVIEW: A hidden gem in old Montreal! Perfect place for a date! This was our first experience & we absolutely loved it! The staff was friendly & ready to serve us. We ordered (see photos) -> Pizza Salame: A perfectly baked thin crust pizza with spicy salami & delicious melting mozzarella. But some might find it a little too salty. -> Insalata Verde: A simple but tasty salad. -> Medaglioni con Ricotta e Spinaci: THE BEST STUFFED PASTA I'VE EVER TASTED, creamy & perfectly cooked. These three meals cost around $80, but were well worth it. The place is also very clean & the welcome is very cordial. I hope this review helped, I'll be going back 100%.
