About us

A favourite amongst Montreal’s foodies, BEVO Bar + Pizzeria invites you for some fine Italian dining, original cocktails and a fresh ambiance. Seven days a week, chef Giovanni Vella cooks up traditional Italian flavours with a few signature twists. The restaurant’s specialty: authentic wood-fired pizza.

Two spacious floors, a fully stocked bar and convivial seating set the stage for an enjoyable meal every night in Old Montreal. Aperitivo Happy Hours come to life with special deals on drinks from 4 to 7 p.m., and our DJs bring a musical vibe to the place with freshly baked pizza until the end of the evening on Fridays and Saturdays.

During the summer, you can lounge on the terrace sitting right on Saint-Vincent Street – a pedestrian stretch bustling with friendly locals and artists.

The BEVO famiglia will be expecting you with a tasty Italian meal. Buon appetito!

Service was quite good, however, the food was very bland. Portions sizes were just ok. Pizza crust was not good & tasted more like a cheap flatbread pizza. Decent atmosphere but the layout made it difficult to walk around tables for both customers & staff.

I give it all the stars because I had a great experience there. The food is delicious & affordable. The worker called Lauriene is fantastic because she didn't keep me waiting for the food & translated for me when trying to communicate with someone who speaks French while I don't. She also kept my phone charger the other day I was there & left. So she is very honest & reliable, deserves a raise, & a promotion.

Honestly, I wouldn't go back! The atmosphere was nice & the service was lovely. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I was excited to eat at this place & ordered their three-course meal. I must say that none of the ordered dishes pleased me & I'm not picky at all. I ordered the Gnocchi as the main dish & they were hard & tasteless. My husband ordered a Pepperoni pizza & found it too salty. Neither my appetizer nor my dessert was special. To summarize: I would not recommend this restaurant.

Loved everything about this place. Food is very delicious. My 2yr old child loved the Margarita pizza. They do have plenty of high chairs so families with kids can also enjoy their meal time. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Waiters were very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommended.

Bevo is a gem found in old Montreal. What really made our experience unforgettable was our lovely waitress Nouhaila. She gave exceptional service & was extremely nice & friendly. Will definitely be back!

La Burrata a été une déception, manquant d'assaisonnement & accompagnée seulement de quelques morceaux de tomate, ce qui la rendait fade & sans réel intérêt. En revanche, l'Arancino était délicieux : une boule de risotto au safran avec un ragoût de viande savoureux, parfaitement équilibrée. Quant au lieu, il est charmant avec son architecture en pierre apparente, ses chaises aux sièges rouges qui apportent une touche de couleur, & un éclairage agréable créant une atmosphère chaleureuse & accueillante.
