Favori des enthousiastes de la scène culinaire italienne à Montréal, le BEVO Bar + Pizzeria propose une cuisine traditionnelle d’Italie, des cocktails originaux et une ambiance rafraîchissante. Sept jours par semaine, le chef Giovanni Vella élabore des mets classiques rehaussés de notes créatives. La spécialité du restaurant : les pizzas authentiques cuites au four à bois.
Deux étages spacieux, un bar généreusement garni et des sièges disposés de façon conviviale mettent la table pour un repas toujours agréable dans le Vieux-Montréal. Vous pouvez compter sur des soirées animées avec nos 4 à 7 Aperitivo, un DJ présent tous les weekends et de la pizza fraîchement cuite jusqu’en fin de soirée les vendredis et samedis.
Pendant l’été, prélassez-vous sur la terrasse située directement sur la rue Saint-Vincent, une rue pavée largement fréquentée par les résidents et artistes de la ville.

It's an interesting restaurant with a beautiful view.
There are plenty of tables set up by the street, allowing you to enjoy the distant views of the street right from your dining spot.
The scenery is breathtaking & untouched-truly a feast for the eyes.
The quality of the food was good, & the service was pleasant.
The dishes were delicious, freshly prepared, & made with high-quality, fresh ingredients.
The hospitality was warm & welcoming.

We stopped by Beva Pizzeria during a day trip to Montréal from Toronto after seeing its solid reviews & reputation as a go-to spot for pizza. It's located in a busy, tourist-friendly area, so we figured it would be a safe, easy lunch option with decent quality. We were also pretty hungry, so pizza felt like the perfect pick.
Our server was friendly & welcoming, & when we asked for recommendations, he suggested their most popular pizza-the Cotto E Bocconcini-along with his personal favourite, the Parma In Bianco. Both came out relatively fast, which was a plus. Service overall was efficient & the atmosphere inside was actually quite nice: bright, warm, & cozy, which gave off a good first impression. The place was also relatively clean & dust free which is a big plus.
Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Both pizzas were, to be honest, very underwhelming. The Cotto E Bocconcini & the Parma In Bianco were extremely salty, & the cheese used didn't melt properly-it had a rubbery texture & sat on top of the crust in an unappetizing way. The overall flavour was flat, & the crust itself tasted bland & dry, especially around the edges where there was barely any sauce to bring it to life. It all came off tasting like cardboard. There was nothing satisfying or crave-worthy about either pizza, which is disappointing considering this place is literally known as a pizzeria.
We both had a hard time eating them, but since we were starving & didn't want to carry leftovers around for the rest of the day, my boyfriend ended up forcing his down. Unfortunately, he felt sick pretty much right after-which says a lot.
I'm honestly shocked at how highly rated this place is. I understand it's in a tourist-heavy area, & sometimes those spots can ride more on location than food quality, but still-it's surprising how off the mark both pizzas were. We really wanted to like it, especially with the friendly service & inviting atmosphere, but at the end of the day, if the food doesn't hold up, it's hard to justify a return visit. Not worth it for the price, & not something we'll be coming back for.

Hands down, one of the best pizzas I've ever had!
First, pizza is heated on wood
Second, The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce is tangy, & the cheese is melted to perfection. The toppings are fresh & generous, & the staff is friendly & attentive.
Kids friendly (as you can see from the picture), cozy atmosphere, great prices, & exceptional quality.
I will definitely come again & try other stuff on the menu.

The space is great & the service was good. The calamari appetizer was quite good with a nice tomato pesto for dipping. It was entirely downhill from there. When they say prosciutto in the menu, they mean sliced ham deli meat. When they say crispy, it's not. The pasta & gnocchi dishes our table ordered favoured quantity over quality. The impression was store bought dry pasta & a very basic, minimally flavoured sauce. All in all very mediocre & no where near the Google score that inspired us to try this place. Bevo Pizzeria is perfectly situated in the charming Old Port of Montreal, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the area.The place has a pleasant atmosphere & is tastefully decorated. However, my experience started on a negative note when I was seated at a table over a sewer that emitted a foul odor. Fortunately, when I requested a change, the staff was very friendly & quickly accommodated me. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing. I ordered gnocchi that were so hard they felt like "cannonballs." On the other hand, my wife ordered a milanesa that was decent but nothing memorable.The prices are reasonable for the location, though I expected a bit more in terms of quality.Voir plus

Pasta are microwave quality, half of it is cold while other half is barely heated up. It does give me impression that it is frozen pasta being heat up to serve. Pizza are like frozen pizza with little extra topping on top. Atmosphere is good because it is in old montreal & hence I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Overall, I will not come back for food.Voir plus
