Avis pour Bertha's Rôtisserie

Afficher toutyuca(7) poulet(6) chicken(5) frites(3) sauce(3) verde(3) peruvian(3) quality(3)Deuxième essai, cette fois, en take out. Cette fois, bol Rojita en take out. Merci!Voir plus
Based on previous customer reviews & as a curious Latin American who appreciates Peruvian cuisine, I decided to try Bertha's. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. I'm not a particularly picky eater, so I expected a well-prepared roasted chicken with authentic Peruvian flavors. However, when I ordered a chicken sandwich, I was surprised to find that the chicken was mostly dark meat with tendons & lacked flavor. The salsa verde was mediocre, & the large, uncut cilantro stems were difficult to eat-I had to tear them apart by hand. On the side, I ordered the "Yuca Deluxe," expecting the classic crunchy fried yuca from South American cuisine. Instead, I received mushy yuca, nearly the consistency of purée, with a sofrito that was decent but not enough to make up for the poorly prepared yuca. Considering this restaurant is owned by the same Montreal-based group behind Provisions-& knowing the quality of food at Provisions-Bertha's was truly underwhelming. I honestly wouldn't recommend it & will take my money to another Peruvian restaurant where the quality matches expectations.
