I love the place. The two staff members we saw were lovely, polite & attentive. I told my boyfriend about the lack of music, then suddenly, something started playing softly. We had the Shanghai noodles (my boyfriend & I mistakenly thought it was a less spicy version of Singapore Noodles, for some reason. We were wrong but liked it anyway.) & the eggplant ! I recommend that dish the most. It had a nice meaty flavor from pork. 10/10 dish & will be my lunch tomorrow. I'll be back to try more of the menu. The restaurant was clean, including the ladies' bathroom. Prices are great for the portion size.Voir plus
Beijing has been an establishment of sheer quality consistency, a sure bet Chinese restaurant since I was of age of spending money on Chinese food & is still the case today when I consider eating Chinese food in Chinatown.
Service is always welcoming, food quality there is above Chinatown average which saddens me when I've heard their opening hours were shorter (they close earlier now).
Aside from that, we've often used them for take out & uber eats to great delight.

We tried this place today on our trip to Montreal. Unfortunately it was pretty bad. Honestly, Panda Express taste better & that's not saying much. The steamed dumplings were disgusting with a smathering of really sweet peanut sauce on top. Next was the Noodle dish we ordered, noodles were ok but the beef tasted gamey & was really tough. Then we ordered Chicken Fried rice, had a terrible after taste. Last, we ordered the General Tao Chicken, tasted way too fried & had too much breading, almost like a chicken nugget with sauce. We payed $72 Canadian including tip. Do not recommend this place, we did not even complain, we felt kind of bad since hardly anyone was in eating there. The good that came after this is since we barely ate any of the food, we were able to give it to a homeless man & made his day.Voir plus
Don't let the 4 stars fool you, this place deserves 5 stars. Truly so authentic, one of the best comfort Chinese food places in Montreal. The cooks in the back have been perfecting the food for decades, the service is warm & super quick, & the huge menu variety doesn't deplete the high quality of every dish. Our family loves Beijing Restaurant! We eat here almost every time we are in town. We are vegetarian & there are plenty of options for us. My absolute favourite is the hot & sour soup. The vegetarian spring rolls are also delicious (they are gigantic & different from what you would normally get, but SO good). It's a staple for us!Voir plus
