What impressed me the most about the restaurant was its beautiful ambiance - from the lovely paintings on the walls to the elegant decorations & the soft traditional Iranian music playing in the background.
As for the food, I really enjoyed it. It was tasty, the portion sizes were just right, & overall, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5. We ordered kebab Torsh & Koobideh, both of which were well-prepared. The meal came with a choice of salad or soup, & it ended nicely with a cup of tea.
Also, the lady who served our food was very kind & friendly, which made the experience more pleasant.View more

The food was delicious & the portion was generous. We enjoyed the Kebab Torsh, Chicken Kebab, & Kebab. The Kale Kebab was tasty. The combination of smoked eggplant+ wulnut+Pomegranate molasse were really good. The chicken kebab & kebab torsh were awesome, they were two of the best I have eaten. Chicken kebab was tasty & soft. Overall, I recommend this place to everyone.View more

Fantastic food!! We make sure to visit this restaurant every time we visit from Toronto. They have a wide range of options in their menu & the food is truly tasty! Very tasty & fresh kabobs, served in nice dishes in a cozy atmosphere. Would definitely go back for more, in future. Also quite a few gluten free options if you talk to the waiting staff. Update: returned after a year during our re-visit of Montreal & super happy again with the quality of the food, ambiance & service.View more

We ordered Kale Kebab, soup & Salad, ans Marinated Olives for starter. Kale kebab was absolutely tasty as it was marinated with pomegranate sauce. For the main course, we ordered Kebab koobideh which was very juicy & delicious. Overall food quality was high & the restaurant ambiance was nice. The service could have been better as there were only two personals with a lot of customers.View more

We came to this restaurant as everytime we visit Montreal we like to have some Persian food. We saw this restaurant had 4.5 stars so we immediately decided to come to Behesht. The spot itself is very cozy, small but cozy. The inside is designed very nicely giving you a taste of what Iranian restaurants are like. My dish (bakhtiari $50) Others ($20-30) The kabob was pretty tasty however there were a few critiques. The rice had a bit of a smell to it, I'm not sure why.. if it's cheap rice or maybe the way they made it? One of the beef kabobs were completely burnt on the back as well. The chicken was juicy & tender but lacked salt as I had to put salt on my whole dish. The salad & most-mousier (yogurt) was delicious. The service was also OK. Tea was complimentary but they brought the tea with our food dishes still on the table so we tried to stack our plates & make room for the tea. They also forgot to bring our drinks & we had to remind them. One more thing: the bathrooms are very dirty! If the owner or staff sees this I hope it gives them a sign to clean their bathroom.... For these reasons I can only give this place a 3/5View more

I have visited this restaurant couple of times since opening. I always have treated well. Yes might be very busy some days & we should wait until seated, however we never waited too long for the order. The food is good & tasty. Highly recommend it.View more

Beef & Chicken Kabbab are good & a must try with herbal rice. 1st time we went there it was superb. Kishk beitenjan is quite tasty for an appetizer. 2nd time we were there 6 months later, however, the quality of food seems to have gone down significantly. The meat was not fresh, neither the chicken & tasted v ordinar. I will give it one more chance before I rule it out.View more

Tasty Persian cuisine with variety of Kebabs 😋 We tried family dish for four (Behesht) which had different kebabs, including Joojeh, Koobideh, Kebab Torsh, Kebab Chenjeh, & Chiken Koobideh. The food served with soup or salad, which I think soup is far better than the salad. For appetizer, we ordered Mast Khiar (basically yogurt with chopped cucumbers & garlic) & Kale kebab (smoked eggplant with walnuts & pomegranate sauce) which is a dish from North of Iran, it was a bit different but tasty. Upon arrival they asked your number to text you when they have your seats ready which was a bit awkward & discomforting sharing my number. Also they don't make reservations unless you're more than 10 people. Overall it was a great experience for us.View more

The food was really tasty & unique & the quality was pretty good! The combos don't seem like the best deals, our side ordered 5 plates & the other side ordered a 5 person plate. They paid quite a bit more than us but only had a bit more food. They also only had one extra meat compared to us. That said, the food was excellent & I'm looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. Also the lentil soup was spectacular!View more

The ambiance was inviting & comforting! The staff (Mr.Parsa) was incredibly attentive, providing great service throughout the lunch. We ordered a mix grill & a lamb shank, kabobs were tender, lamb shank was tasty, & the rice was well prepared. “ & “kashk e bademjoon”. Very tasty one! Just wished for some fresh/warm bread with some fresh herbs beside “ kashk e bademjoon”!
