I am so glad that this place was open on Labour Day. My wife has wanted to try Persian cuisine for the longest time & I was in Montreal so decided to google & this restaurant had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. Absolutely amazing from the service the atmosphere & the food. The place was crazy busy & the food was just flying out of the kitchen with such finesse. I was given a tea while I waited & when I got the food it was packaged perfectly & the owner was very kind & courteous. When I got home & opened it all up it was incredible. My wife was so happy & said it was exactly what she hoped it would be. I will definitely be returning & I recommend this place to everyone
This place definitely has hygiene problems. I live in Toronto, & on my way back from Quebec, when I was feeling a bit under the weather, I searched for a Persian restaurant to have some soup. I saw the ratings & thought, "Yeah, this is where we should go." My family, who was visiting Canada, was with me. When we went to wash our hands, a rat ran into the washroom! I screamed & left immediately. I'm not even sure if they actually took care of the rat, though they claimed they did. My mistake was staying there after seeing it, but I wasn't feeling well enough to search for another place. The food quality was mediocre at best. Overall, this was one of the worst Persian restaurants I've ever been to.
Not very great but not very bad either. kebab torsh & jooje kebab was good but koobideh was not good. Kashk e bademjon was good too. It was sooo noisy & not enough staff, & the downfall was that I was just looking for finishing the good & leave & I didn't enjoy being in that environment at all. This restaurant was much better before but now I think we should look for better options to eat Persian food.
Absolutely love this restaurant! Delicious & authentic Persian food that's always consistent & great quality. My husband & I's favourite Persian restaurant in the city.
I recently celebrated my birthday at this restaurant & I had the best experience. The staff were super friendly & the ambiance was perfect. Best Persian cuisine in Montreal. It offers variety of starters & main dishes & Kebabs were really fresh & juicy. I highly recommend this place.

OMG!! This restaurant brought me back to Iran!!! I loved the food, the ambiance, the hospitality, the EVERYTHING. You should definitely give it a try. The Ghorme Sabzi, Shahani plate, & the soft ice cream deserve more than only five stars!! Thank you for the perfect representation of Persian food!!!!
Fantastic kabob. Great appetizers & great service from Parsa. I'm from the states & this is by far the most delicious Persian food I've had. Highlights the Barg kabob & zeytoon parvardeh (olive appetizer)
I used to come alot to this place with my husband who is persian. Their food was good before but now its not the same anymore. I enjoy Barg but the meat is very chewy & doesnt taste the same anymore.

Excellent Food. My family & I visit as often as possible from the US. Our son lives in Montreal, so whenever we visit him, we always stop for a delicious Persian Meal. You know that the food is authentic because it is almost always packed with Persians. Our favorites are the Lentil Soup & the Koobideh. Staff are warm & friendly & very polite.

Came from NYC & so pleased to have found the most authentic Persian food this side of the world. Amazing! Cozy environment & warm staff. You may pass by this place or overlook it because it's tucked away but finding it will be like uncovering a treasure.
Amazing melt in mouth kebabs & super flavourful rice! We ordered a platter for 2 which had 4 different kebabs, 2 plates of rice, humus & pita & 2 soups. The lentil soup had great balance of ginger & freshness of cilantro! The kebabs were moist & fresh with very prompt service. The meal also came with free Persian tea. The only critique is of the female/ladies washroom which was in a horrible condition & the server asked me to use the men's washroom which was occupied & led to an awkward encounter.
We visited Montreal front Edmonton AB. Behesht restaurant was the best Persian restaurant we visited during our stay in Montreal. Thank you for your great food & service.
I think it was our 3rd or 4th time here in Behesht. As always great & fresh food. Believe me or not, it tastes like the best restaurants in Iran. Also, nice atmosphere & kind behavior. Highly recommended for those interested in Persian or Mediterranean cuisine.
