Beauty's is a classic, Jewish restaurant, but definitely no kosher (you can tell from the very tasty bacon!)
The wait is usually 10-20 minutes(can definitely be more!), but it's well worth it & the line moves quickly.
Not the cheapest, however, the food is great & plentiful. The grilled banana bread is amazing, theirs smoothies are fresh & tasty. The salad was huge & very fresh.
Very accommodating & very friendly people & staff. When one family arrived & wanted a kosher experience, they worked very hard to find them somewhere that was - not many places would have gone out of their way to do so.
Family of 4 with 4 meals & 3 drinks came to about $160 (with tax & tip)View more
View more
What a privilege it is to visit this institution of Montreal restaurants! The menu & food stays simple & perfect. The same family has been preparing your meals for over 80 years. Don't miss the chance to visit & enjoy yourself.View more
Iconic restaurant. Great traditional breakfast food. Great service. Somewhat pricey however. 30+ dollars per person ... for a basic breakfast.View more
Awesome diner food with super friendly staff. Always busy so expect a bit of a wait.View more
What a wonderful breakfast! Everything was fresh & delicious. We enjoyed sitting at the counter & my kids loved watching the milkshake station. All of our food was perfect! Bagels, omelets, French toast & waffles. Highly recommend breakfast here while visiting Montreal!View more
Definitely a nostalgic spot for those who've lived in Montreal for a few years.
great location to start your day with a hearty brunch & then go for a walk in the plateau or mile. end.
Quality ingredients, big menu, great ambience, super fast service. Little expensive but whatever, it's not an everyday spot.
The kind of place I recommend showing up before 11am or not at all. It's very popular!View more

So much fun, we waited in line outside in the rain. it was worth the wait for the experience. We all had Bloody Mary's . They supply all the fixings so you can make your own. Food is delicious, great deli sandwiches, pancakes with Canadian Maple syrup, all day breakfast. Definitely give it a try.View more
Modern, diner vibe. Service was very friendly & attentive. Very interesting venue. No eggs benny here if that's your thing but I thoroughly enjoyed the Paysanne omelet. Packed to the brim with ingredients. Bacon, potato, cheese & parsley. Very delicious. Home fries had a good texture. Not super crispy like they were deep fried but just a hint char from the flat top possibly. The Omelette was huge & well worth the value. We decided last minute to try to go early, get a walk in without resos & got lucky. From the sounds of it, they'll try to squeeze you in if they're full but probably a safer bet to reserve ahead of time. Thanks for the experience. Will definitely come again.View more
Great brunch that really hit the spot! An institution for good reason!View more
The best chocolate chip pancakes I've ever had. Light, airy & crispy.
Beauty's is a must whenever I visit Montreal.View more
Déjeuner sans café inclus (3$) un peu poche. Baguel servi non beurré. Pas extraordinaire comme place malgré le line-up.
Service incroyable par exempleView more
Good food, service is good too. I went to Beauty's on a weekend morning, which is an incredibly busy time for them. The tables are really close together to sit a lot of people at once, which isn't a problem, but I felt rushed. I wasn't even finished eating & was asked if I'd like the bill. The waiters are just doing their job & trying to get the waiting customers to sit down, which is understandable. They were nice about it.
I'll just say this: if you want to eat a breakfast leisurely on a weekend, this is not the place to go. However, the decoration is cute & it's worth a try if you can find the time to go during a less busy time.View more
It's quite expensive.
I must say though that it is reliable & the food is of high quality & the place is very very clean & very very modern.View more
