BBagels se distingue par des bagels surdimensionnes, moelleux a l'interieur et croustillants a l'exterieur, accompagnee d'une large gamme de fromages a la creme maison et de trempettes, dont des options veganes, avec des saveurs comme citron, echalote, miel ail jalapeno et chimichurri. Le concept repose sur l'idee de dechirer et tremper le bagel dans une trempette plutot que d'appliquer des garnitures classiques, dans une ambiance familiale et conviviale renforcee par une cuisine ouverte et une demarche zero waste qui plait. Les avis evoquent des bagels au saumon fume remarquables et d'autres options farcies, le saumon fume etant souvent describe comme l'un des meilleurs, avec des accords de saveurs audaces bien equilibres. Le service est frequemment salue pour sa chaleur et son efficacite dans un cadre detendu, meme si certains trouvent le rapport qualite-prix eleve et quelques plats lourds ou inegaux. Dans l'ensemble, BBagels est percu comme une adresse montrealaine fraiche et innovante, offrant des saveurs memorables, des portions genereuses et une experience bagel distincte.
I was on a time crunch & couldn't wait for the other famous bagel shop down the street, & I wasn't a big fan of bagels to begin with. I came across Bbagels one block down & the server/cashier made the bagel happen in less than 5 min after I told him I was in a rush. This is the best smoked salmon bagel I've ever had so far! I was told the salmon was smoked in house. The price was a bit high (23 CAD), but as a visitor who loves to try food, definitely worth the experience! This shop is a hidden gem.
Incredible. One of the best bagels I've ever had in my life. The owner is very welcoming, kind & friendly. The smoked salmon is the best you can find. The place opened in 2024 & I can't imagine they won't be a hit on this street. Ask the owner for the options because there's so much to choose from, take his recommendation. 10/10!

Walking in, this place is very nicely curated however, this was not worth the hype the owner decided to give me. This man hyped up these bagels so heavy. Told me if it's not the best smoked salmon bagel I've had I'd get my money back. I gotta say, that kind of upsell set himself up for failure. As someone who enjoys a salmon bagel regularly, this was extremely mid. The bagel wasn't toasted, just a cold bagel with colder toppings. The dill cream cheese was liquid & there was barely any capers. Onions were nicely julienned but besides that, I truly don't know what makes this bagel worth $23. I told him I was gunna leave a review regardless of the turn out & it's just unfortunate that we're in a place where people can make mediocre food & have such confidence in it. Please toast your bagels before you serve them. Just because they're huge bagels doesn't make them worth the price. You have to put care into the food you make. Please & thanks. Disappointed & dissatisfied.
Such a goooood bagel! This salmon one was awesome, different than anything you ve had as a salmon bagel. The vibe is cool & the bagels are special, totally recommend it !

I did not believe we could reinvent the bagel but they have succeeded.

i never leave reviews but this was incredible. the open-face smoked salmon sandwich was crafted by gods. savoury spread, fresh toppings, smoky perfection. & the rip & dip honey garlic jalapeno schmear is delicious - can't get enough. Super friendly staff, easy access spot w/ a cool view of local downtown life.

We visited our favourite bagel shop in their brand new, beautiful space
We were very happy to discover that the location is not all that is new! A tempting array of new items, including delicious bagel sandwiches, wowed us immediately, each a delightful combination of fresh ingredients, & each bite a perfect blend of flavors & textures.
You can't go wrong, but our absolute favourite was the smoked salmon sandwich, which was truly incredible, featuring really amazing smoked salmon on their famous homemade schmear.
The atmosphere at this new location remains upbeat, the bagels are as large as ever (because, yes, size still matters), & the creative schmears never disappoint. We highly suggest you try them for yourself ASAP. You'll be as hooked as we are!
For my last day in Montreal this place was like a cherry on top ❤? Definitely the best bagel in town!! The owners are super nice,friendly & welcoming 😊Salmon bagel have a very unique flavor & in my opinion is the should try one. The bagel is crunchy crispy outside but inside still soft & chewy.Will come back in near future to try more flavors 🥯

This is by far the best bagel I've ever tasted! I seriously couldn't stop eating I ended up having three bagels with their bacon schmear (unreal!). I was in town for a trade show & stopped by once… then came back all three days of the show. On the last day, I finally tried the salmon sandwich, & wow amazingggg. Wish I had gotten it on day one.
The guy at the counter was super friendly, & the place was spotless. If you're a bagel lover, this spot is an absolute must-try.
We split sesame bagel with honey jalapeno cream cheese as well as the salmon sandwich. The bagels are so fluffy, warm & soft, perfect for pulling apart. The cream cheese was outstanding. The star really was the salmon bagel sandwich, easily the best bagel I have ever had. The dill, lemon zest & all of toppings were incredible & the salmon was so fresh. The owner was also so kind & excited to share his concept with us. Could not recommend this place enough.
This is my first time in Montreal & I wanted to make sure I tried a bagel before I left. This didn't disappoint. The place is nice & clean, The woman at the counter was very kind, & the salmon bagel sandwich is amazing. The bagel itself is light & fresh. There's a perfect balance between cream cheese, capers, salmon, & fresh herbs. & the lemon zest & drizzle of high quality olive oil add a nice touch. Truly one of the best bagels I've ever had!
