Welcome to our authentic and artisanal bagel shop, where we prove that size really does matter! Our bagels, twice the size of traditional ones, are made to be enjoyed fresh and hot. With us, it’s always bigger, fresher, and above all, more delicious! Come “rip N dip” with us!
BBagels stands out with oversized fluffy bagels that are crisp on the outside and generously stuffed, paired with a wide array of homemade cream cheeses and dips, including vegan options, and flavors like lemon zest scallion honey garlic jalapeno and chimichurri. The concept centers on ripping and dipping the bagel into a shmear rather than adding toppings, and the open kitchen, cozy family vibe, and zero waste approach add to the friendly atmosphere. Reviews highlight standout smoked salmon bagels and other stuffed options, with many calling the salmon lox among the best ever and praising bold flavors and well balanced fillings. Service is repeatedly described as warm and attentive, with quick helpful staff and a lively casual setting, though some customers feel the price point is steep for what is offered and a few items can feel heavy or inconsistent. Overall, Bbagels is seen as a fresh innovative Montreal spot that delivers memorable flavors, generous portions and a distinctive bagel experience.
These bagels have a smaller gap in the centre & they're fluffier / bigger. May be NY style? Not sure. So it's quite sumptuous for a meal. Service: top notch: Camiele was managing the role of a cashier as well as getting the order ready, popping the bagels into the oven etc. she's a star!
The bagels per se are premade but heated on the spot before it's served / packed.
Not the most traditional, but certainly the highest quality bagel you'll find in Montreal. This is the bagel-snob's bagel. To get the best, ask for their recommendation & trust them. Bagels come out so fresh they will burn your fingers if you're not careful! The smoked salmon bagel is fantastic with house smoked salmon & topped with fresh herbs & lemon zest. The jalapeno garlic honey cream cheese dip is mild enough for kids & not too sweet for adults. Our kids wanted the Nutella strawberry bagel, however when Nutella was spread on a piping hot bagel it gets pretty liquid & quickly all over kids. 🤣 I think bbagel's'rip-&-dip' style would be better suited to a deli-cup of Nutella for dipping & a small side of strawberries as chaser. I wish we'd skipped the most well known bagel shop down the street & ate here for another breakfast. We look forward to another delicious rip-&-dip! Posting a pick of the salmon bagel that everyone else posted… because it's THAT amazingly good.

As a tourist! This place knocked it out of the park for me! Nice hot bagels, presentation of my Loxs was fabulous. Staff are gracious & thoughtful. They also make there own lemonade, a must try!
My wife & I went there. The people are nice but we asked them for no onions the food. The chef wanted to ask specifically if onion powder was OK we said fine but no onions. Guess who's food had onions
On top of that we were not a fan of the bagels nor the dip of the 4 things we tried

First of all, great service! The person who served us was so lovely, even gave us a small extra dip because we couldn't choose. I think the lemon dip was the best! The bagels come warm & they were sooo tasty!
The bagels here are quite good-fresh, hot, & well-stuffed. We tried the Poulet, Marinara Pesto, & Cheese, & the quality was definitely there. However, at $20 per bagel, the price point feels a bit steep for what you get.
The girl who served me was very friendly from the second 1, everything is decorated very homely & simple but it is very comfortable. I emphasize, a 10/10 attention, in addition to the bagel this delicious & freshly made, my first time & I would return

Interesting concept of shaping sandwich into bagel shape
Not bagel dough but interesting concept for hot sandwich.
But overpriced ….close to $20 for a bite in a loud simple university like joint.
The bagels were delicious especially the ones with stuffing inside! The smoked salmon bagel was ok. Expensive bagels. Friendly service. I would love to try out other flavors or have options for dietary restrictions.
Absolutely delicious, the bagels are the perfect consistency throughout - satisfyingly chewy on the inside & crunchy on the outside, & the dips have a lot of flavour.
