Display Allsalmon(43) cheese(30) dip(26) recommend(26) fresh(25) honey(24) vegan(20) sandwiches(18) stuffed(18) sandwich(18) spread(16) saumon(16)I bought three sandwiches, one regular sesame bagel & one bagel with smoked meats inside. Honestly, they're all delicious, especially the sandwiches, it's worth to come back for. BUT the smoked meats bagel was Very Very Very salty, I finished one 500ml bottle water in one gulp. Oh Jesus , never had this before.
Interesting concept of shaping sandwich into bagel shape
Not bagel dough but interesting concept for hot sandwich.
But overpriced ….close to $20 for a bite in a loud simple university like joint.
Good experience but feel like being ripped off.
I visited this place yesterday & it's such a cute little bagel spot. We tried the bagel with dip-everything bagel with a vegan dip-& it was absolutely amazing. They also offer bagel sandwiches with some really unique options, including vegan choices, which I loved.
We couldn't resist trying the Oreo cookie, & it was delicious. I was honestly blown away by the taste & texture of the bagels. The coffee selection is limited (just black coffee & latte).
On top of that, the service was fantastic. Everyone working there was friendly & welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.
It was very busy on Sunday, hard to get a place to sit but no line to counter. Took about 8 min to get the bagels & schmears & another 20 to get the sandwiches. If time is an issue, order ahead. Tried the poppy seed bagel & jalepeno dip immediately, perfect combo. Warm & soft on a cold day.
We had the tomato sandwich & the smoked meat stuffed one. They were so good. The tomato one is filling without being heavy, even though the bagels are way denser than the usual bagels.
I doubt the six I bought to take home are going to last the week. 100% will be back.
I recently visited BBagels with my friend Sarah, who was invited in to taste the menu & shoot content. I came along as the hand model & very willing taste tester.
This is their first winter since opening in April 2025, & the intention behind the place really shows. The space used to be a clothing store before Byron & his family took it over, & now it feels warm & lived-in… with small details that tell a story. The concept started as a pop-up in Pointe-Saint-Charles, & that roots-first energy is still very present.
The bagels themselves are fluffy & filling, with a crisp exterior & a soft interior. They offer both classic options & playful twists like za'atar-crusted or smoked-meat-stuffed bagels. My favorite schmear was the honey garlic jalapeno… sweet on the first bite, then slowly warming, the kind of flavor that keeps you ripping & dipping until there's nothing left. A close second was the scallion & lemon zest, bright & fresh, with just enough tang to cut through the richness.
What stood out most was the care behind the scenes. BBagels takes a very practical zero-waste approach: leftover bagels become homemade chips offered as samples, & a single lemon is fully used across the menu… zest in schmear, juice for homemade lemonade, & the rest folded into marmalade. Nothing feels performative, just thoughtful.
They offer open-faced sandwiches, rip-&-dip bagels, stuffed bagels, & recently added soup. The soup does sell out quickly, so arriving earlier is a good idea. That said, it feels less like a drawback & more like a sign that everything here is made in real time, not mass-produced or rushed.
Byron runs the shop as a true family business, & you'll sometimes see his kids helping out, which adds to the sense of community. By the door, there's also a small notebook where customers can doodle or leave a note, like a casual guest book that quietly reinforces that neighborhood feel.
Not flashy & not trying too hard… just well-made bagels, excellent schmear, & a clear sense of care behind every decision. A place that feels good to support, & even better to eat at.
Excellent quality sandwiches. I had the best smoked salmon bagel sandwich of my life here. I also like the variety of creamcheeses, especially the one with lemon. Really friendly local place doing something differently than St-Viateur. Great customer service & the bagels are always fresh.
