The staff is very polite & try their best to accommodate heavy footfall . One of best places to eat Indian food in Montreal
We recently went to Bawarchi in Montreal for a friend's birthday celebration & had an amazing experience. The Indian food here is truly the best I've had in Montreal.
The Cut Mirchi was outstanding - crispy, flavorful, & a must-try starter. Among the mains, the Kaju Biryani (vegetarian) was on another level - rich, aromatic, & unlike anything I've tasted before. The roti was also soft & fresh, perfectly complementing the curries.
Overall, Bawarchi is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors & a memorable dining experience.
Amazing ambiance & food is truly Indian. I spend a lot of time searching for good authentic Indian Food & my search ended at Bawarchi . Special mention to Payal & Rachna their service was amazing vwry friendly & good suggestions
'Authentic Indian flavors in the heart of Montreal! The food was fresh, well-prepared, & full of spices that reminded me of home. Great portion sizes, friendly service, & a nice atmosphere. Best place in Montreal if you're a biryani lover! Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the city - highly recommended
Food is really tasty. It's a must visit if you want to taste Indian Spicy food. Both veg & non-veg food is equally good.
I was attended by Payal. She was very polite , & a very good host.
Food was great, looking for good Indian food. This is the spot. Payal was great, great service. Hats off to the chef Varun!!! WILL COME AGAIN!!!
The food at Bawarchi has authentic flavors, especially the biryani which stands out. The menu has good variety & the portions are decent. That said, the service can sometimes be a little slow during peak hours, & the seating area could be more comfortable. Overall, a good spot if you're craving Indian food in Montreal, but there's room for improvement in the dining experience
One of the best indian restaurants in the city. It feels like a mix of authentic & Canadian vibes. They have too many varieties of Biryanis & too many other options. Just be-careful, the food is realy spicy.
Bawarchi delivered an outstanding Indian dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors & top-notch quality. A huge shoutout to **Chef Kapil & Chef Gaurav** for their culinary expertise-every dish was a masterpiece in taste & presentation.
Special thanks to **Aarti** for her exemplary service-she was attentive, warm, & made our dining experience truly memorable.
If you're craving incredible Indian cuisine with exceptional service, Bawarchi is the place to be! Highly recommend! 👌🍛
Delicious food, great service, & authentic Indian flavors! Loved the sushi Paneer & naan. Will definitely be back!
Ordered Palak Paneer Lamb Biryani & Butter chicken
Lovely location & sweet staff
Must try place .. got Indian vibes
The biryani was good yet needed some gravy & spices
Palak Panner stole the show with fresh butter Nans
In spices rich & flavors deep,
This Indian gem stirred senses from sleep.
Aromas danced on every plate,
Each bite a journey-truly great.
From buttered naan to biryani's fire,
Each dish fulfilled a heart's desire.
But beyond the feast, what made us stay,
Was service warm that lit the way.
The waitress, kind with knowing smile,
Made every moment feel worthwhile.
With grace she moved, with care she spoke,
Like comfort wrapped in curry's smoke.
So here's our toast, in rhyming cheer-
To food divine & service dear.
A place where hearts & palates meet,
This restaurant's charm is truly sweet.
Walking into Bawarchi feels a bit like stepping into a fish market-pun absolutely intended. It's loud, crowded, & the ambience isn't exactly what you'd call refined. But once you get past the chaos, you're in for a treat.
While the North Indian options are limited, everything we ordered was spot-on. The hariyali chicken was packed with flavor, the noodles were surprisingly delicious, & the dal was simple but satisfying. The staff, despite being swamped, remained responsive & efficient.
If you're looking for a calm, quiet dinner-this isn't the place. But if you're okay with a bustling setting & care more about food than aesthetics, Bawarchi delivers where it counts: on the plate.
Absolutely incredible Indian food! It was so tasty & you get large portions for your money. I had the Butter Chicken Biryani & it was delicious! My mom loved her Chicken Tikka Masala. We will absolutely be back next time we're in Montreal.
The B.E.S.T indian food in mtl !! The taste is incomparable, the portion is really good, the staff is very helpful & kind, you absolutely need to try this place ??😮?💨 (I tried so many things & everything is yum)
We traveled from Vancouver & were looking for a good place to eat when we found Bawarchi. Their regular menu has great options, but we quickly realized that their real specialty is biryani!
We first ordered some naan with spinach, which was fresh & flavorful. But after noticing that almost every table had biryani, we decided to get some packed to go-& we're so glad we did! The biryani was absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced, & had that authentic taste that makes you want to come back for more.
Not only is the food amazing, but it's also very pocket-friendly, making it a must-visit for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine. Highly recommend Bawarchi, especially their famous biryani!
Located near my university, this place became our go-to whenever we craved a decent biryani & some beer. Their Karvepakki Chicken Biryani is my favorite-flavorful & satisfying every time. The Chicken 65 is a perfect balance of spice, not too intense but still hits the spot. My Arabic & Canadian friends are big fans too! Proudly Indian, this spot offers authentic flavors that appeal to everyone, & it never disappoints. Definitely a place I always recommend!
The best Indian restaurant in downtown in my opinion.
One thing I'd like to share is, the background music was quite loud, & when we requested a volume reduction, the staff seemed to take it negatively rather than considering the customer's comfort. It would be great if such requests were received with understanding rather than defensiveness.
