This used to be one of my favorite places in Montreal. I even had a very positive review in the past. Unfortunately, things have changed. There were numerous things that were wrong the last time we were there. But just to give a couple...
We had three different waitresses during the dinner; we were just there for one hour, obviously things got lost between the waitresses, & we ended up not receiving some of the things that we ordered.
2. For Deseret we ordered a cack which honestly seems like it's been sitting there since Steven Harper was a prime minister & was just not tasty. I did tell the waitress that it she felt completely fine to place it in the bill without even ask if we would like a different dessert.
Very, very disappointed.
Amazing service with Sara & Mike & the entire team, but you guys need to bring back steak bites. I know they would be a hit again & don't forget the chimichurri on top.

Waiter suggested a 75$ steak which was 20 oz & part of their higher quality special menu.The steak was very chewy even though he told me it is a better grade than their regular menu.
I recommend to stay away from steak if you come here

Really liked this place. Bâton Rouge Grillhouse has a great vibe & feels lively & energetic, which makes it a nice spot to hang out & enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is welcoming & not too noisy, so you can still have a good conversation.
Service was excellent - staff were friendly, attentive, & made sure everything was taken care of without being over the top.
Food was good, portions were reasonable, & the steak was delicious & cooked well. The carrot cake was also really good & definitely worth trying.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I'd definitely come back again.
J'étais légèrement rétissant face aux commentaires lu sur Google, mais finalement une excellente soirée service rapide très courtois & le repas vraiment excellent a la hauteur de nos attente pour cette chaîne.

The young staff were making disparaging remarks behind the counter where they pick up the patrons' orders, it really sounded like they were in a high school cafeteria. They have no self-awareness & no care to uphold the Baton Rouge brand & seem to think patrons can't hear them nor understand what they are saying (we can & we do).
The waiter was rude, didn't bother to notify me that his shift ended, so my table would be transferred to his colleague: took 20-30 minutes to be able to pay my bill that I requested earlier.
Just poor customer service overall, which is sad for this wonderful restaurant. Hopefully, management will take care of this because it is unacceptable.

Décevant de se faire parler anglais en premier ! J'ai dû demander pour me faire répondre en français à chaque membre du personnel rencontré.
Les bavettes sont délicieuses avec le'beurre cowboy' mais on vous charge 4$ de plus! Les légumes accompagnant la viande étaient en gros morceaux & froids ! On ne nous a pas proposé autre chose que les frites...
Personnellement, je n'aime pas voir sur une facture'divers nourriture/ 4$'.. pas capable de savoir à quoi cela fait référence; ce serait respectueux de décrire exactement les éléments chargés sur la facture . Finalement, le service était expéditif & on ose nous proposer 18 ou 20 % de pourboire.... Il faut compter nous-mêmes pour laisser 15%.
This is one of my favourites whether it's with friends, family, or solo at the bar. I've been to some other BR locations but this one is tops. They know how to cook here. I used to have one major complaint about the steaks not being cooked enough. Medium rare came raw. But I have had their bavette now many times since & it is always cooked perfectly. Good job guys. All the dishes are great. Nice lunch menu. I often get the bavette (flank steak for the Americans) with just veggies. It's a great low carb keto friendly choice. They renovated not long ago & the atmosphere is great. Good job again guys. You will come back for more, again & again & again.
It was amazing 👏 I highly recommend trying their table d'hôte menu because the pairings work well together.
I had a chicken tortilla tomato soup, mesclun salad with avocado dressing, sante fe chicken it was grilled chicken breast, wild rice & grilled veg. But the sauce on the chicken was the winner & the goat cheese as well. I usually don't like goat cheese but on this dish it was heavenly!
The other fish we had was the grilled salmon, baked potatoes & grilled veggies. It was amazing as well. The dessert of the day was this nice sponge cake with a maple drizzle & a small ice cream scoop. Delicious!
Bâton Rouge has been highly rated for years & for a good reason. Their plates are diverse & the pairings work well together.
This location has parking & is wheelchair accessible.
When we left, we saw a few people waiting for a table at the entrance,but you can always make a reservation or wait because the food is worth the wait 👍
J'ai été invité a un soupé d'une retraité, jai commandé la salade a la louisinnaise en spécifiant que je suis celiac & jai mentionner le menu sans gluten. Le serveur est arrivé avec ma salade & les nouilles sur le dessus.donc l'avise aussitôt & est revenu avec ma salade sans les nouilles apres environs 3 minutes. Très rapide pour en refaire un autre, & je été malade ce matin. 4 fois a la toilettes & des nausées en 1h45 environ. Donc j'y retourne possiblement jamais
Went with my family, everyone had an incredible meal. I tried the braised beef & it was very good. I'd give this a 5 star of the cheesy garlic bread had flavor but it really didn't. Service was incredibly good!
