First of all I'm just going to say I never leave reviews. Not that I don't think the service or restos deserve it but I really just don't think of it. I really felt I needed to make an effort because my expectations were exceeded & I totally believe the service ( & food ) need to be recognized. We often go eat in restos all around Montreal & one time we decided to go eat at Baton Rouge In GPK. Since then we have gone back & will continue to go back. The server , young gentleman that works on Monday & Tuesdays only , is AMAZING!!!! He is so attentive, ,friendly , efficient, & we could go on & on & on about how great he is. We never felt rushed & always felt taken care of . We had the porterhouse a few times to share & the t-bone once , & everytime it was cooked to perfection. The side dishes ( baked potato , seasonal vegetables & we always add added mushrooms ) were all amazing . My boyfriend, who is a big sea food eater , always takes the lobster tail , & claims it's one of the best he's had . The food was delicious & the service we had is really hard to beat . We would have never thought we would have had such a great meal/ service at Baton Rouge in GPK. We would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a tasty meal ( take the porterhouse or tbone to share ) , AMAZING service , with an intimate environment for a VERY reasonable price to Try it out!! Not sure how it is on the weekends , but if you go on a Monday or Tuesday u won't regret it ! A great service goes along way & when there's amazing food you can't go wrong !!!!

Étant un fan de Bâton Rouge, je recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter. La seule chose qui fait que je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles, c'est que souvent les frites ne sont pas assez cuites. Mais, en le mentionnant, ils nous les remplacent sans hésiter. Je crois que prendre un petit peu plus de temps pour les faire cuire plus serait parfait.
Heureusement, le service est super, les côtes levées aussi.

Well believe it of not but the small portion of fried calamari you get is 19$. This is ridiculous for the amount you get. Also none of the food was remarkable in any way. My friend had the potato soup & liked it but nothing beyond that. I had the Baton Rouge burger & i was really just okay. The fries were definitely good. However any restaurant with a 20-25$ burger will give you something more tasteful to eat. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant & won't go again. Prices are just too high for what you get unfortunately. I wouldn't mind paying half the price for the quality you get, but full price is just not a good deal for what you can get elsewhere. Service was fine even though they were clearly understaffed for a Friday night.

I had a fantastic experience at Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar!
The first night I visited, I had an excellent, incredibly tender steak-perfectly cooked, with outstanding flavor. The vegetables were fresh & complemented the meal beautifully.
The next day, I tried the grilled chicken breast with vegetables & other sides, & once again, everything was excellent.
FOOD in my opinion excellent. 5/5 star!
The restaurant was very clean, & the service was excellent-friendly, attentive, & professional.
Overall, a great place to enjoy a high-quality meal. I highly recommend it & will definitely return!

The waitress we had never smiled once & she didn't get my order right. I was very disappointed. I asked for steamed vegetables & I ended up with grilled ones drowning in oil. I asked for butter on the side for my potato & got a huge gob of butter sitting in the middle of it. My friend asked for the vegetables to be well cooked because he has trouble chewing & he got the same ones as mine. Not a great experience. Based on this experience I would not recommend this restaurant. I have been to the one on Decarie & the service was much better as was the food.

Lovely place. Clean, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere. Sangaria was great but didn’t match with what we saw on menu..we got only 6 pieces of orange in our pitcher, but on menu 4 kinds or mor of fruits.. in general I recommended.

Le service était impeccable, la cuisine très bonne.
Un merci particulier au gérant qui a su attendre un peu que notre groupe de 16 soit prêt à partir.
Ce n'était pas ma première visite & ce ne sera pas la dernière.

Before even knowing Marc was going to be our server, he had given our kids very warm high 5's at the entrance while we waited to be seated. Our overall experience was beautiful. We had the signature ribs & enjoyed every bite. Marc kept checking to be sure we didn't need anything that we didn't have. I recommend this restaurant & ask for Marc if you want the best

Food was delicious, good size portions (actually portions are big), very friendly & nice staff. I highly recommend bâton rouge, we had a lovely evening.
