While the food that I had was good, the ribs weren't as saucy as I thought, unfortunately. I have had saucier ribs at various Bâton Rouge locations in the past, & I was kind of let down that the ribs I had when I came to this restaurant weren't noticeably saucy. Granted, there was some obvious sauce on roughly half of the rack, but for a plate of Bâton Rouge ribs to be seen as deliciously saucy that would lead to Bâton Rouge's social media accounts advertising the ribs as'BYOB: Bring Your Own Bib', the whole rack needs to be obviously sauced. Maybe I could have asked for an extra barbecue sauce to be served to me as a dip that I could have then slathered onto the ribs to give me the sauciness that I wanted, but I was expecting a plate of one rack of saucy ribs from the moment I ordered them, not half-a-rack of saucy ribs.
Granted, the service overall was very good, my waitress was courteous & friendly, & I had a good time eating there with one of my longtime best friends. I would happily eat at this restaurant again!Voir plus

You know there's a problem when you get served faster than if you were at McDonalds …. not one french fry was crispy & ribs were room temperature. A far cry from what thus restaurant used to be. You can have a better BR experience at your own home with their frozen food products vs going to eat at their restaurants. Just close already so a REAL restaurant can open instead. Frittes molles & tièdes, côtes levées tièdes aussi qui doivent sortir du micro-ondes. Où est le bon vieux bâton rouge ou c'était savoureux & l'on voulais revenir? Semble américanisé & a perdu son charme.

Pas mal déçu de la bouffe hier. C'est de valeur parce que d'habitude je suis pas déçu à cette place. Des ribs secs cuit probablement la journée d'avant pis des rondelles d'oignons vieilles de plusieurs heures, tu met pas ça dans une assiette à $100 toujours bin...un peu de fierté svp. Pis la bouffe pas assez chaude non plus. Ça fait dure. Tenez vous en au steak si vous voulez pas être déçu. Mais au manager du restaurant, si t'es pas capable de produire ce qu'il y a sur ton menu de façon appropriée, c'est correct d'en mettre moins dessus...ont va chez vous pour la qualité, merci de vous en souvenir. Beau & bon restaurant. Les cótes levées commandées étaient succulentes. Le service était parfait, attentionné & rapide. & l'ambiance du restaurant est feutrée, le mobilier confortable. I have been going to Baton rouge for years & they were always known to be consistent. The menu did change with some great options but the quality of the food & increase in price is not justified as many restaurants seem to be doing. Going there on a slow night with not that many people there should be no excuse & the dishes should be perfect. I think there is a lack of preparation in the food because you see it right away on the plate when you dont take the time to even mix your seasoning properly on french fries. Also dissapointing are highly priced calamari that were really horrible & rubbery. I dont mind paying a high price for my meal but the quality better be there to back up the price. This is not to say there arent some great options & we did enjoy some of our meal but its dissapointing in the dip of quality.
