While the food that I had was good, the ribs weren't as saucy as I thought, unfortunately. I have had saucier ribs at various Bâton Rouge locations in the past, & I was kind of let down that the ribs I had when I came to this restaurant weren't noticeably saucy. Granted, there was some obvious sauce on roughly half of the rack, but for a plate of Bâton Rouge ribs to be seen as deliciously saucy that would lead to Bâton Rouge's social media accounts advertising the ribs as'BYOB: Bring Your Own Bib', the whole rack needs to be obviously sauced. Maybe I could have asked for an extra barbecue sauce to be served to me as a dip that I could have then slathered onto the ribs to give me the sauciness that I wanted, but I was expecting a plate of one rack of saucy ribs from the moment I ordered them, not half-a-rack of saucy ribs.
Granted, the service overall was very good, my waitress was courteous & friendly, & I had a good time eating there with one of my longtime best friends. I would happily eat at this restaurant again!Voir plus
You know there's a problem when you get served faster than if you were at McDonalds …. not one french fry was crispy & ribs were room temperature. A far cry from what thus restaurant used to be. You can have a better BR experience at your own home with their frozen food products vs going to eat at their restaurants. Just close already so a REAL restaurant can open instead. Pas mal déçu de la bouffe hier. C'est de valeur parce que d'habitude je suis pas déçu à cette place. Des ribs secs cuit probablement la journée d'avant pis des rondelles d'oignons vieilles de plusieurs heures, tu met pas ça dans une assiette à $100 toujours bin...un peu de fierté svp. Pis la bouffe pas assez chaude non plus. Ça fait dure. Tenez vous en au steak si vous voulez pas être déçu. Mais au manager du restaurant, si t'es pas capable de produire ce qu'il y a sur ton menu de façon appropriée, c'est correct d'en mettre moins dessus...ont va chez vous pour la qualité, merci de vous en souvenir. Ok menu enfant! Sa vraiment super avec un enfant avec des intolérances c'était parfait les menus on de beau choix en mode table d'hôte vraiment abordable! Sa super géniale & un gros bravo!

Mais ma déception est sur les ribs! Les boys j'ai pris un menu BBQ pour 2! J'avais des rondelles d'oignons brûler ok sa l'arrive. Mais les ribs était dur! Pas une affaire de compétition ou tu dois avoir un one bite clean c'était dur & pas géniale! J'avais pris le steak à 15$ de plus & on a demander médium mais c'était bien cuit! Ok on était 18 & je comprend qui à pus continuer à cuire mais pareille & les sauces était froide.
Mais le service était plus que parfait nos 2 serveurs était géniale & aimable même. Avec mes 2 filles un énorme merci à eux!
Mais un repas à 200$ + le tip avec votre qualité habituelle vos ribs mon vraiment déçu. & la propreté des toilette aussi j'ai été me donner une shot d'insuline & il avait du papier de toilette coller au bol & des poubelles qui débordait & quand je suis retourner + 2h après c'était pareille donc vraiment déçu sur se point.

Príjemná cistá restaurácia s príjemnou hudbou,ochotnou obsluhou a výborným jedlom. Vyskúsali sme niekolko jedál a vsetko chutilo výborne. First off, the Caesar salad is far from being a REAL CAESAR SALAD, it's supposed to be creamy not oily with REAL BACON not bits of mystery ingredient. Had the pork ribs, hohum. You could make better ribs at home I know I can. No flavor except the BBQ sauce, the meat should have some sort of spice blend. No bread/roll!!!!!! At least the water & wine was good. Great service (rotation of waiters taking care of us throughout the meal). There was really very little wait time between being seated, placing & receiving the orders, eating & paying. The food was great - ribs with lobster tail was excellent, mashed potatoes were light & "fluffy" (not heavy), the coleslaw was good (but small portions as compared to back in the days). Chicken tender salad was also good - missing the egg, though. Only half an avocado (not quite quite ready). Very good, nonetheless. Bâton Rouge Grille House & Bar in Galerie d'Anjou is a Louisiana-inspired rib house. It's a classic chain of restaurants that you must try. But I'm not going to lie, the quality & service have gone down over the years, & the prices have gone up. If you love ribs, then it's worth a try. However, if you're in a hurry, don't bother. The ribs are still tasty, but the overall experience isn't what it used to be.Voir plus
I've never seen such a tiny rack of ribs. It was dry & barely had any meat. For a place that promotes ribs as their signature dish I would have expected better. Octopus side for $24 had only one limb as the serving. I won't be back to this location.Voir plus
My visit to Baton Rouge in Anjou offered a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The staff were friendly & attentive, ensuring a great service throughout our meal. While the food was decent, with the ribs being a noteworthy mention, some dishes were just okay & didn't quite meet expectations. My coleslaw was forgotten with my rib plate. So disappointing to find elements missing when you wait an hour for your delivery. There's nothing you can do about then & when I called to have my order fixed, they just throw the ball to Uber & wash their hands of their error....frustrating.Voir plus

The ribs weren't hot .. but the baked potato was hot & delicious .. the squid was too chewy.
Nous venons ici depuis plusieurs années & je suis très déçu comment l'inflation reflette dans les assiettes. Les prix ont augmenté & les portions diminués. L'assiette de ribs avec poulet pannés par exemple. Il y avait 4 bon morceaux de poulets, là il y en avait 2 petites. Les calmars sont très petits aussi. Des fois on a de la salade de choux, des fois non. Les gateaux sont la moitié de la taille qu'ils étaient avant.... Tres domageVoir plus

The food at Baton Rouge Anjou is very hit or miss. Some nights it's excellent, & other nights really not great. Unfortunately, last night was not great. The ribs were small, very dry & overcooked. Also the prices went up a lot, & seems like portions got smaller.
Not sure I'll be back soon.
Les ribs sont bons. Le service laisse à désirer. Ça doit dépendre de la personne qui te sert. Notre serveuse avait l'air de vouloir être ailleurs qu'au travail. Les cocktails & le vin sont vendus à des prix démesurés.

I have been to this Baton Rouge in the past. However it was the first time since the pandemic restrictions were lifted. The service was slow. The food were cold.
The ribs were okay..not as good as before.
The louisiana chicken.. The chicken strips had hardly any chicken on them..it was mostly bread crumbs.
Overall.. very disappointing experience.
