we finally decided it was time to investigate for ourselves.
Sometimes the magic isn't in reinventing the wheel. Everything here feels simple at first glance, but the details matter, & you can taste it.
There is, objectively speaking, nothing revolutionary about the combination of focaccia with ricotta & honey. & yet-holy crap. The bread was impossibly soft, the ricotta fresh, & the drizzle of honey tied it together so beautifully that biting into it felt like munching on a savory cloud.
I had never had fried olives before, which now feels like a personal oversight that I intend to correct for the rest of my life, especially when served with a dangerously good blue cheese dip that made it nearly impossible to stop eating them.
& of course, there was wine. Because… well, duh.
Now, I'll be honest: I'm no wine connoisseur. I can usually tell if a wine is dry & I can occasionally pick up a note or two, but beyond that, my professional assessment is generally'this tastes good.' Everything we tried paired beautifully with the snacks-which is really the only expertise required for a very good evening.
The service was top-notch, the atmosphere effortlessly charming, & the entire experience left us wondering why it took us so long to finally make it here.
But at least now we know why everyone's been talking about it for years.

I go regularly, & the service is always friendly.. The food is fresh, delicious 🤤, & consistent with great quality. The morning pastries are made by their pasty chef. Absolutely 💯 awesome. Love the matcha lattes.
Very lovely restaurant with beautiful ambiance. The food was very good & well priced. The service was slightly slow, however the restaurant was very full so that definitely impacted it. Staff was very friendly. Patio outside is beautiful, & the drinks are very fresh. Definitely recommend.
Honestly, a very solid spot. The terrace vibe was absolutely sublime-perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was consistently great across the board, but the focaccia really stood out-fresh, fluffy, & full of flavor.
I'd highly recommend this place. It feels like a true hidden gem in Montreal, with the right balance of atmosphere, quality food, & friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.
I used to LOVE this place but unfortunately will not be in my favourites anymore. The waitors don't come see you often & i was very thirsty waiting for water, to order dessert, drinks, i even had to wait 30 minutes to finally request the bill. I stopped multiple waitors to request for salt, or water, a drink. The atmosphere is VERY LOUD. The music, the people, so if you're looking for a calmer environment this isn't your place!!! Waiting times are also very long & the thing i appreciate least is HOW TIGHT THIS PLACE IS! Sit on the terrace if you want more space because inside you will sometimes sit with strangers on tables that are stuck, or can sit on 4 people table with 2 strangers if you're 2 people. The pasta is amazing but the shrimp pasta was a dish i did not like at all. The ragu, the cacio e pepe, the ceasar's salad, foccacia, all BANGERS. Unfortunately i rated this place a 2 because after sharing my disappointment with the taste of shrimp pasta sauce (taste like fishy sea water), the person in charge was very deceived/resentful & said they'd still charge me for personal taste. I come from a family of fishers, i love shrimps but this sauce was not it. Pros: food is good (except for shrimp pasta in my personal opinion) & the drinks have virgin drinks & freshhhh food. Cons: too tight, too loud, long waiting lines (although outside of their control) & rude response from person in charge if you dislike/have an opinion based on certain foods!

Barbara had a really nice ambiance-cozy & welcoming with a stylish touch. The food was delicious & beautifully presented. It did feel a little overpriced for the portion sizes, but overall it was worth the experience. The focaccia is a must-so fresh & flavorful, it alone is reason enough to go back!
Is hipster enough for first dates. Goofy for second or third dates. +food tastes good (yumm) +food is fresh +candles(real ones, not electric) +waitress was stellar✨✨✨✨✨ +place was clean +chairs are cozy +bathrooms are real clean +easy to find -idk if they steam their soy or oat milk because latte was cold -prices for food are 4x what you'd pay at a diner(calamaris cheap tho) -kitchen is connected to the bar & lounge (so it smells like an ingredients bar, think ikea & alcohol) -no place to hang jacket or wintercoat as far as I know, but chairs worked fine. -shared bathroom (i got shy i didnt pee) -long line to get table :(
Fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly & welcoming. It's an excellent place to enjoy a good time with loved ones. They don't take reservations. The food was fresh & absolutely delicious. Great vegetarian options. The pistachio tiramisu was heavenly. 10/10
I had such an amazing time here today !! I loved the ambiance , upbeat music , fresh flowers & candles! The food & drinks were delicious & my server Ophélie was so friendly & nice !! Can't wait to come back & highly recommend!!

One of my usual haunts, I take everyone I love there so we can share a great meal & leave satisfied! Yes the wait can be long for dinner time but I think it's extremely worth it. The food is fresh & delicious & the staff is amazing.
Had an excellent pasta here, service was great, but the pasta was extremely tasty & the highlight of my visit. Ingredients were very fresh. Will come again!
First time there, manager Chloe & Catherine were supper nice & welcoming ..food was so fresh & drinks on point. I'm italien & it's rare I go out to italien resto but some of the dishes we took reminded me of nonnas recipes. Keep up the great work . Will be visiting soon again
The place is trendy & beautiful that's why I wanted to give it a try, I ordered calamari it wasn't fresh, too oily & cold. It was the worst experience I had. Margarita had to much ice with no special taste.

Excellent experience. I waited months to try & they did not disappoint. The waitress was amazing, super attentive & so nice. Food was delicious. Pasta was fresh & foccaccia was out of this world. Drinks are original & prices are overall reasonable. Love it & will be back!
We went there for brunch on Mothers day we were 8 people with a kid. Cannot say enough good things about the accomodating attitude of the staff. Incredible. Fresh focaccia great cheese. Loved everything!!!
