Wonderful brunch/lunch place. All prepared fresh. Service was a little slow but definitely worth. My fig sandwich with capicola was delicious. My friends egg toast was also a hit. Great music & atmosphere.
Barbara was delicious, went on a date with my girlfriend & it was a nice vibe. We we're right in front of the window with it open so the breeze was nice. We had gotten the focaccia with honey & ricotta with the cacio pepe, the calamari & the ragu pasta. Tasted all amazing & was so full I was ready to fall asleep. Definitely a place I go at least once every 2 months especially during the summer time
This place is a nice place to eat. i found the environment comfortable. When we arrived it took a while for someone to greet us or acknowledge us but the workers did look busy & I'm sure we're focoused on their tasks. It was okay prices. & for the food my sandwich wasn't the best, I had never tried what I got before it was the sandwich with a so calleda fancy type of Balogna. I found the cheese crazy thick & the bread way too chewy, I really brought out my inner dinosaur gnawing on it. I found it tougher than sourdough. If your on a date don't order that, youl be slopping & chewing for 2-3 buisness days. As for the fries BEST ONES IVE EVER HAD!! So delicious & the sauce it comes with is delightful. They didn't even need salt & I always use salt. I was extremely impressed. Next time I would ask for extra Parmesan though hehe. That's my personal preference 😉
We ordered cappuccino & they were all cold & my friend ordered another one & asked to make sure it's hot but it was cold again.
This time she refused it & asked for a hot one & we were charged for an extra one which we refused for being cold.
Wasn't a good experience.
Really really good pasta, & loved their Cesar salad too.
The service & the atmosphere itself is really pleasant, definitely would recommend 🫶🏼 Will for sure be back!
Barbara is so overrated especially for brunch. The flavours are so bland. (also they don't accommodate egg cooking … which for a brunch place that just feels disconnected from the client)
For brunch definitely go to Arthur's Nosh bar across the street.
For diner / drinks it's just worth the focaccia which you can get a good bakery as well.
