A cozy place with nice atmosphere & friendly service. The menu is only available in French but the server was nice enough to go through the menu in English & recommend his favourite dishes. Despite his recommendations, I found the food to be just average.

Love this place, super good atmosphere & vibes. The food is really good as well. Only thing is that they don't take resos so you might have to wait for a while & also the music can get really long that it's hard to talk.
BarBara was on my list for a while, & I'm glad to have finally tried it, especially for a date night! The atmosphere is so cozy & romantic, literally a candlelight dinner! The food was great, I especially enjoyed the burrata, cocktail shrimp & gnocchi! I'll have to come back to try more dishes!
Cozy bar with a bit more upscale vibe. Ordered literally everything on the money for 6 people. Was around 40$ per person. You can't go wrong with any of the food. Portions are decent & fulfilling. Service was great & prompt, however there wasn't a lot of people when I went there. Added as one of my new favorite bars to go to.

When you can get a spot at BarBara you'll definitely have a night to remember. No matter what you order you can't miss: the gnocchi is incredible, the fries are covered in parmesan (never a bad thing for us) & don't even get us started on the focaccia. The wine selection is incredible. To have a spot with such a wide inventory that is constantly changing is incredible. The service is a bit slow but like we said they are always really busy. Great wine bar with fantastic Italian food in the Sud-Ouest
J'ai eu l'occasion de tester ce restaurant à l'improviste alors que nous cherchions où manger vers St-Henri à 22h. Ce lieu est souvent complet le soir, mais je me doutais qu'à cette heure-ci, il devrait y avoir une table. L'ambiance est vraiment agréable: la lumière est tamisée, la décoration intimissiste & la salle pas trop bruyante. Nous avons soupé des pâtes qui étaient très réussies bien que les portions étaient petites. Cerise sur le gâteau, le serveur était adorable & conciliant, j'aurais aimé connaitre son prénom pour le citer dans ce commentaire. Je reviendrai donc essayer les gnocchis avec lesquels j'avais longuement hésité.
Went here for a birthday lunch with a friend & had outstanding service. The staff was very friendly & genuinely seemed like they were happy to be there, which is a rare occurrence nowadays. Brandon, the bar man, in particular, was very passionate about his craft & knowledgeable in his recommendations. He contributed a lot to making my birthday meal special & the mood happy for the rest of the day.

So happy to have stumbled upon this place. Incredible food & atmosphere-We especially loved the funk classics playing in the background. Great value & generous portions. Service was friendly & quick. It's a quaint little spot, perfect for groups of 4-6 I'd say. If that isn't enough, a few guests had brought their well-mannered doggos along to chill under their tables during lunch. That was the cherry on top for me.
With time we ended up finding our favourite corners in the city, by far I can tell BarBara easily & as fast as the flash, became my favourite place. The food is simply yes! Go for it, get the appetizers (arancini & calamari ate may faves), any pasta would be a great fit to a cozy night, but don't skip the focaccia... Anyways do like me, go offer & order different food everytime. Have fun!

C'est parmi mon top 3 des lieux où manger sur Montréal, le cadre est de qualité & la nourriture à tomber ! Surtout le service, merci à l'équipe & à Marie pour le beau moment passé !
Nice place, with good ambience. Food is okay. A bit expensive for what it is. Good beer variety. & a large wine list too. Amazing service. Verdict: give it a try.
It's a nice place to grab a drink & some pasta with friends. In the summer they have a terrasse which is nice on a beautiful day. I think the pasta is a little overpriced but it's still pretty good.
