one of my favourite restaurants!! highly recommend their pistachio latte & matcha, focaccia & pappardelle (if it's available) but tbh their whole menu is insane so you really can't go wrong with anything
Where do I begin ..?! This place is amazing, the music, the food, the service, 10/10. It was such a pleasure to be served by Yan, he was super attentive & friendly the whole night. The ambiance of the restaurant, although big & full of customers, felt quaint & warm. The music set the tone & the food was incredible. We shared some appetizers & mains, the drinks were good too. Bathrooms are private & clean. I recommend this place if you're looking for a nice night out with some friends or a date.
Very lovely restaurant with beautiful ambiance. The food was very good & well priced. The service was slightly slow, however the restaurant was very full so that definitely impacted it. Staff was very friendly. Patio outside is beautiful, & the drinks are very fresh. Definitely recommend.
Je suis venu manger dimanche & l'ambiance était vraiment incroyable ! L'accueil était chaleureux, & un mot spécial pour le jeune homme à la porte : très sympathique & professionnel. Une super expérience du début à la fin. Je recommande vivement !
Honestly, a very solid spot. The terrace vibe was absolutely sublime-perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was consistently great across the board, but the focaccia really stood out-fresh, fluffy, & full of flavor.
I'd highly recommend this place. It feels like a true hidden gem in Montreal, with the right balance of atmosphere, quality food, & friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Restaurant très sympa avec des plats à la cartes délicieux. Le personnel est très serviable mais le service est long. Je recommande pour passer un bon moment !
Nous avons adorés notre expérience, la nourriture était délicieuse, la carte de vins complète & variée puis le service impeccable. Mention spéciale à Gabrielle, notre serveuse, qui etait à l'écoute de nos demandes & a su nous faire des recommandations en fonction de nos goûts. La soirée fut agréablement marquée par notre passage au barbaravin, merci à toute l'équipe. Nous serons de retour prochainement!
Dès notre arrivée à la table, on venait souvent nous voir pour nous demander si nous étions prêts à commander alors que l'on venait d'ouvrir le menu. Un peu "pushy" mais bon. Les cocktails ainsi que les plats étaient très bons! Je recommande la foccacia. C'est à la fin de notre souper que la situation s'est détériorée; encore une fois on vient rapidement nous demander, terminal à la main,si l'on était prêt à payer alors que nous n'avions même pas terminé nos café/thé. Mine de rien on règle l'addition en se disant qu'on allait nous laisser tranquille.... Tout le contraire. Même pas 5 minutes après que la serveuse ait terminé de nous faire payer, un autre employé vient nous voir pour tenter de poliment nous mettre à la porte car un autre groupe attendait pour une table depuis 30 minutes! Wow! On doit donc mettre fin à notre soirée entre amis en plein milieu de discussion parce que l'on a plus d'argent à leur donner? Bref, si vous souhaitez vous sentir comme une vache à lait que l'on se débarrasse une fois quelle n'a plus rien à donner, c'est l'endroit idéal!

Really cozy place & super friendly staff, great for a glass of wine + comfort food. Definitely recommend but expect a bit of a wait (we walked in & it was quite busy - they eat dinner late here!)

I recently visited Barbara Vin in Montreal with two friends for dinner & drinks, & overall, it was a great experience with a few minor downsides. Since they don't take reservations, we had to wait in line, which was a bit long, but the host was really accommodating. About halfway through the wait, he brought us to a little corner spot to browse the drink menu & enjoy a drink while we waited, which was a nice touch. He also offered us seating on the terrace, which is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, you can't have alcohol out there due to permit restrictions. The restaurant itself is very cute & fun, with cool decor that adds to the ambiance. We shared burrata, focaccia, parmesan fries as appetizers, followed by two pasta dishes (cacio e pepe & campanelle), which was plenty for the three of us. Everything was delicious! I had an Amaro Limonata, which was amazing, & my friends enjoyed margaritas. The drinks were good & affordable, but they were on the smaller side. While the vibe was super cool, the service was a little slow, & it took a while for our food to arrive. Despite that, I'd definitely go back & would recommend this spot to others. It's worth the wait!
I had such an amazing time here today !! I loved the ambiance , upbeat music , fresh flowers & candles! The food & drinks were delicious & my server Ophélie was so friendly & nice !! Can't wait to come back & highly recommend!!
À notre arrivée on à été bousculer à faire un choix en 3 minutes, la serveuse EXTREMEMENT BÊTE AUCUN SOURIRE, pas à l'écoute du client & la bouffe très décevant, juste nos 2 drinks qui était pas pire, pas à recommander.....
Been there many times & always had a great time. Vibes are on, the food is amazing & the service is as well. & I just have to say that BarBara has the hottest staff in Mtl, like really. The only thing i would complain about is the size of their plates, the food is amazing I just need more of it, especially for the price I pay. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend.
